Panama needs to keep that pressure up. Croats are starting to overheat

Ghana advancing
England Ghana game today sucked. Ghana was swarming all over like a kicked in fire ant mound. But they were focused and seemed like a draw was their game plan all along. England was impatient and seemed clueless. Couldn’t put any plays together, popped off too many shots on goal. England won’t go far.

Group L is wide open after match day 2... unless you're Panama

With England & Ghana drawing 0-0 and Croatia getting a 1-0 win over Panama... those 3 teams can still win this group heading into match day 3

England & Ghana both have 4 points with England having the goal differential edge, +2 to +1.

Croatia gets to 3 points and a -1 GD... but are still alive for the group win with a victory over Ghana & England doesn't win over Panama.

Panama is eliminated... that's all we know from this group.

If Congo can get a draw, the they have a chance to finish second in group.

The last group matches are going to be really interesting already with Curacao and Cabo Verde both in great spots to advance as well.

Cabo Verde has an opportunity to actually win their group. A win vs Saudi Arabia and a Spain draw or loss to Uruguay puts it to GD. Uruguay win also puts it to GD.

Without video it’s hard to tell, but it’s a good bet he was in an onside position when the ball was played.

ELI5 it’s not where you are when you receive the ball, it’s where you’re positioned as it’s passed to you.
