Dominant day by both France & Senegal to wrap up Group I
France wins the group with a 4-1 win over the Norway back-ups. Norway was glad to give up the group, take a 2nd place finish, & begin preps for the Ivory Coast in the Round of 32
A 13th minute red card put Iraq down a man & Senegal likely on its way to being 1 of the 3rd place teams to advance to the knockout round as Senegal defeated Iraq 5-0, sending the Iraqis back home.
Final Group I Standings:
France 9 pts +8 GD
Norway 6 pts +1 GD
Senegal 3 pts +2 GD
Iraq 0 pts -11 GD
