I doubt he moves and if he does it won't be to another BPL team.

. the other big targets likely on the move this year are on teams who don't need to sell financially and, more importantly, are in title/CL place races right now.
Exactly.

yeah, absolutely. it just seems like 100% of the transfer rumors this January have been absurd. at least the shite they make up in the summer makes *some* sense

I don't see di maria being so far fetched with bale taking his starting spot, him being whistled by the fans recently and wanting time for the world cup...
Dandy?

I didn't catch it while watching the game, but this was di Maria's alleged response to being booed after his substitution today:
All aboard the rumor train

top squads don't generally sell backups/impact subs in January. not to mention he pretty strongly insisted his desire to stay a couple of weeks ago.

Besides im pretty sure tottnums special partnership will get in the way...
hahaha... wait...

My friend said he heard rumors of sterling being loaned to Swansea. As a Swansea fan I'm all for this but I don't see why Pool would do it. Anybody hear anything on this or is he getting my hopes up just for them to be crushed when they don't get anybody

Yeah, di Maria would really have to push the issue, especially with Bale's injury issues this season
Might be different if they retained Callejon

Heard it too. Would be suicide considering our lack of winger options. However, loaning out every single player in one position is pretty much right down Rodger's alley.

Victor Moses

Loaning Sterling wouldn't make sense to me at all, he has been playing pretty well from the Liverpool games I have watched... Even looked threatening while going at Ashley Cole in the Chelsea game, not to mention he seemed to be one of your only bright spots that game offensively.

Believe that is a two parter rumor and would require Pool to acquire the Egyptian Messi from Basel, giving us the same amount of wingers as we currently have.

Pascoe (sitting in for Rodgers) at the last PC, said that is absolutely not true.
I think that is old news... with Sterling being one of our better players in the past month, that would be crazy... I could see it with Ibe..

Yeah Ozil said the same thing

yeah...january is different though. not to mention they sold ozil because they bought isco and bale.

This is true. But I'd like to think we have a chance since he's clearly not happy with his current situation and Arsenal is in need of wing support. Plus, we were linked to him in the summer anyway.

I had no idea he was still playing.

yeah, he's been at Atlético Mineiro in Brazil (watched him a couple times last year when checking out Bernard). He's still pretty good. Apparently he's trying to catch Scolari's eye for one last WC.
