Will we ever see a country dominate international football like Brazil did from 1994-2007?

Went to three consecutive WC finals (1994, 1998, 2002). Won two titles.

4 Copa America titles out of 6 played (1997, 1999, 2004, 2007)

Two Confederations Cup Titles

Had four different players win the Ballon D'Or (Ronaldo, Rivaldo, Ronaldinho, Kaka) and five different players win FIFA World Player of the Year

As great as Spain's run was, it lasted only four years. 2010 was the only WC they made it as far as the Semis. They lost in the Round of 16 in 2006 and went out in the group stage in 2014. Brazil's run lasted 13 years. They went to three consecutive WC finals and their worst WC finish over that time was a QF finish. It's just staggering how dominant they were for such a lengthy period of time.

Probably not... You basically have to have two consecutive golden generations to pull that off.

Could probably either cut it at 2004 or extend it to the Conferderations Cup in 2009

2006 was basically a bunch of geriatrics getting abused by Zidane, and Dunga's tenure was weird, although it may have been looked at differently if Felipe Melo wasn't retarded

What's amazing is that they didn't really live up to their potential in the mid-late 2000s due to injuries/partying

Will be really difficult to top

Would be interesting to see how France would've done with a real manager in 2004-2010.

With Ronaldo and Ronaldinho, you're looking at, in my opinion, 2 of the 5 most gifted footballers in the history of the sport.

But by the mid 2000s, R9 had been injured a few times and was out of shape, Dinho was partying and not working on his body at all. If him and Kaka are form in 2006 up to 2010, they don't fall off
