I was there for a week in March of this year. Amazing country with so much scenery and history, great food reasonably priced the backdrop of the war looms large in their history. It’s really a place everybody should go to if they could.

Actually..

Bosnia and Herzegovina has a 20-kilometer Adriatic coastline at Neum, its only seaside town. This narrow strip gives the country direct access to the sea and sits between two parts of Croatia’s Dalmatian coast.

It was formerly Yugoslavia and now about 6 countries. Imagine how good a Yugoslav team would be. They used to be a powerhouse.

This is partially true. The country is beautiful but the food is absolutely garbage

I can’t agree with that. When I was in Bosnia, the food I had was genuinely good — the cevapi was fresh and smoky, the burek was flaky and filling, and the grilled meats were some of the best I’ve had traveling.

Their desserts are amazing. The baklava had that perfect balance of honey and crunch.
