wtf. Hazard got a FIVE frickING GAME BAN for kicking the ball out from under that little piece of shite ball boy. If it wasn't suarez they would be banned. period. To defend him speaks volumes about liverpool fans mentality about winning and morality.
I purposefully said I'm not defending him

Did you even read my post? I've already gave my thoughts, I just think it's funny all the "we told you so" posts. You want me to pat you on the back, give you a cookie, and shine your shoes while I'm at it?

I'm generally a forgiving person, but I said he fricked up. Why do you want the rest of us to grab our pitchforks?

You clearly can't track events

Cantona sat out a year and had to rehab his reputation to be loved and it's not just by United fans

Suarez has had multiple attempts to right the ship for all his antics and hasn't changed at all.

I would reprimand any fan on my side defending anyone that did that. You have someone sitting there saying they don't give a frick they can't wait to see him in the EPL.

And I don't think he should be somehow put on trail because of the biting. If he went studs up on three players and hurt them in some way we would just say he's just a passionate player who sometimes get out of hand. If his first recourse is to bite someone when he's frustrated, that signals to me a man who is unable to deal with his emotions in an adult way. It is a sign of aggression, and if you figure out what the stimulus for that aggression is you can be treated.

At this point he needs real psychiatric help, whether he is banned or not, as his actions on the field are indicative of a very sensitive disposition which reacts negatively to situations where he feels he cannot express himself. He will almost assuredly act out again, unless he gets the help he needs. At this point it's a pattern of behavior that shows signs that he isn't completely mentally healthy.

Sorry for having perspective. I have my opinion, others have theirs, and there's not a damn thing I can do about it.

You want me to write a letter to Henry and think he'll drop him because I say so? Like others have said, it's sad that he's done this because it's literally not sane behavior. He needs help

I agree and in another thread, I mentioned that I would love to know what makes him do this... he needs to get it figured out, with help of professionals...

Obviously he has issues on the pitch and if fans of other teams/countries dislike him, I get it... However, to suggest that he can't be liked for his other redeeming qualities, and that doing so makes you a bad person, is ridiculous...

**not saying this is your opinion

he really does

its to the point he just doesn't get it

People are up in arms b/c we heard all year he was a changed man this and that from Liverpool fans and he looked like he was going to fix his reputation and then this happens. Some people might feel duped.

You said it well. He has some serious psychological issues to work through. I think a lengthy ban with counseling requirements would be a move in the right direction from FIFA. He has issues that are bigger than the game, and he needs plenty of time to begin working on the proper treatment.

I'd be more ashamed of Gerrard if I was on the Red half of Merseyside.
