Yeah, that was ridiculous.
He said that players had a responsibility to not be provocative:
1) No they don’t. It’s a simple celebration.
2) AV wasn’t even provocative. They did the typical run, jump, and group hug in the area where the goal was scored. Just because that happened to be in an area that has more of the Everton diehards doesn’t mean they did anything wrong.
3) Holy shite how these fans would react if players did NFL type dances on them.

is it really worth a yellow for a few seconds of time wasting by the keeper on goal kicks, which will be added in extra time anyway?

Kills the momentum of the game/opposition. Plus some refs will let a keeper get away with it for ages before carding him.
