I really want to buy into an MLS team but being from Louisiana the closest option is Houston and that's not really working for me. Any advice?

Nashville SC. The city hasn't even bought in so you'll have an instant connection.

I mean, everybody in the city has bought in except the new mayor.

Depends on what kind of team you're looking for.

So in reference to a MLS team would they exercise tht option on their better (younger) players or their "retirement players"

Depends on the club. You're starting to see younger DPs every year.

Just so you OT ballers know, MLS turns a blind eye to its new franchise requirements depending on who you are

Garber is garbage and the bubble will eventually burst

Join me on the Orlando City bandwagon. It's not really a bandwagon as we haven't ever made the playoffs, and we haven't ever beaten our "rival" but I don't want to be the only Louisiana Orlando City fan any longer. We just got cool new kits and the Wall is pretty awesome.

The Running of the Wall in the US Open Cup was pretty amazing LINK. Top 3 sporting event I have ever been to.

I think NYCFC is your rival?
no fricking clue.
I picked them over RedBulls because it's easier to get to Yankee Stadium than Red Bull Arena which is in the middle of fricking no where.

I’m less of a TAM fan and more of a GAM fan, myself.

I consider them more natural rivals until this season when it will be Inter Ft. Lauderdale, but MLS pushes Atlanta as our "rival." I would love for them to be, but it can't be a real rivalry IMO until we beat them once.
