there are 11 positions on the field so to say that more non goalkeepers are captains then goalkeepers is absolutely retarded.

Keepers are always yelling anyway and can be out of the game for long stretches of time. Not exactly what I want in a captain.

He's trying to say that they are already always telling (usually yelling) their defenders what to do whenever they are back close enough to actually communicate with each other.
That's another thing, they are removed from the rest of the team for large periods of time.

If you are referring to the article I posted, they had a picture of the starting 11 with Deuce on the left and Gatt on the right of a midfield 3. I couldn't copy/paste the picture so it didn't come across the way it was in the article. Same goes for FJ on the left and Dolo on the right.
