Sometimes Yedlin just looks so bad with his passing.

Yeah and that's not even taking into account this crap pitch. Imagine him on a normal field. So far he's definitely earned a second look.

Morris is seriously earning a spot

I'd be shocked if he doesn't become a regular after this game.

I thought Zardes just got bowled over in the box, but I guess we won't know if they don't give us a replay.

Morris is freaking fast btw.

Puto is Spanish for fig right?

Can you imagine the reaction in this country if our fans chanted fig at the opposing keeper every goal kick?

Pleased with our play so far, besides Corona, he's invisible as usual.

We need some more hard nosed rugged players. If you're not getting the call quit crying and get up. A player was fouled this year. I mean yanked down completely; tbe ref played the advantage and everyone stood and watch the guy streak down the field with the ball scored the goal in extra time for the win. We need some more attitudes like Dempsey and Jones

We let too many teams take the game to us. That's how Mexico operates. If you allow them to turn up the pressure and gain momentum it's going to be a long tiring night. And our conditioning isn't the best. That's why they gave teams like the Netherlands and Brazil lots of trouble. These guys play with pride and relentless pressure. That's their identity . Something we don't have except for taking blows and trying to land the lucky punch

It'd be surprising to hear a chant like that in just about any civilized nation

This is in no way a comment on Rimando in terms of skill, but he looks like a baby man out there. I lose track of him and have a mini-panic attack.

Yeah, he's just so short that it's hard to take him seriously. He's much more talented than I give him credit for though. He's had his hands full navigating the direction each bounce might go
