Y'all are forgetting that we were one terrible Goodson soft foul in the box away from beating the ruskies.

These teams are minnows. Just because they're better than Chinese Taipei and other sheppard teams around the world doesn't mean that they won't annually find themselves near the bottom of whatever group they're drawn in.

Side question, when does JK release the roster for the game?

This is what Ives thinks. I just don't see Dempsey getting called up, all things considered.

PROJECTED USMNT ROSTER vs. BOSNIA

GOALKEEPERS- Tim Howard, Brad Guzan, Cody Cropper

DEFENDERS- Timmy Chandler, Michael Parkhurst, Fabian Johnson, DaMarcus Beasley, Matt Besler, Clarence Goodson, Geoff Cameron, John Anthony Brooks

MIDFIELDERS- Michael Bradley, Jermaine Jones, Landon Donovan, Mix Diskerud, Sacha Kljestan, Danny Williams, Alejandro Bedoya, Joe Corona

FORWARDS- Clint Dempsey, Jozy Altidore, Terrence Boyd, Aron Johannsson

Wales would probably finish 3rd in CONCACAF qualifying

They could trot out a starting 11 featuring 9 or 10 premier leaguers. with difference makers like Aaron Ramsey, Gareth Bale, Craig Bellamy.

World Beaters, no. Minnows, definitely not.

Saying it more doesn't make it true.

All three of those teams have multiple players in good leagues throughout the world.

The teams aren't great, but they aren't exactly terrible, and I wouldn't be surprised if they were able to nick points (or even win) at home against a "good" team now and again.

San Marino is a minnow. Andorra is a minnow. Luxembourg is a minnow.

Apparently JAB was also invited to a U-21 friendly next week for Germany also, he hasn't made a decision yet.

Without looking it up, name one player from Estonia's current squad.

How bout Macedonia's? (I can only think of one)

We have a set date on when the roster is announced?

Game is less than a week from now.

I thought I read either Saturday or Sunday. Unless it was supposed to be last Saturday or Sunday, in which case I have no idea.

Very interested to see Timmy Chandler back in the national team, he's been out a long time and it'd be nice if he could come back and give us some firepower from that RB position.

Gregor Pandev and Goran (? ) Popov that plays for West Ham or West Brom or something. Sorry you could only think of one, but less knowledge on your part doesn't make you more correct.

In a friendly. 18 months ago.

Macedonia has also beaten Slovenia and Serbia in WCQ this cycle, both WC teams from 2010.

Are they minnows as well?

Its Goran so I can't count that one for you. Just kidding of course.

I think we're just gonna have to agree to disagree. I'll give you Wales, they do have a few solid players but I'm still going to consider Estonia and Macedonia as minnows.
