This provides a slight consolation as long as we make it out of group play. At least he won't be around to keep ruining the tournament. The rest of the officiating has been pretty good...

The Spanish ref in the Germany/Serbia match was equally awful.

true, but he didn't take points off the board, Germany also had a pk that they didn't capitalize on, so I don't feel bad for them. We used our opportunities and were penalized for it, germany did not (though it sucks for klose)

Not bothering with the link all this could possibly mean is that he wont get another assignment in the WC....also they should review that jackass Spanaird ref who was trigger happy in the German Serbby game...
