Grant Wahl reporting that US will play Austria on 11/19.
Also reports that the January camp will be split between LA and Sao Paulo.... so probably safe to think we'll have a game here and one there in January.

What kind of squad does Austria have? How they doing in UEFA qualifying?

Currently 3rd in their group after Germany and Sweden. They seem to play very well at home in Vienna, recently beating Ireland and Sweden there.
My girlfriend is from Austria (her family still lives there) and her brother says their squad is better than recent years, but they're not expected to make it out of their WCQ group. He was visiting a couple weeks ago when we beat Mexico and he said we could beat Austria and plenty of other European sides.
I play FIFA with him on the weekends, I'll ask him then what he thinks about the match-up.

working out the logistics for the Scotland is getting hard b/c Ryan flys there like once every 3 weeks from frankfurt
