FYI.
I’m not trying to be annoying.
Just like stirring discussion.
Thank everyone for contributing to all the I sight I get here.

Is Garnacho that fricking good? It seems he is the main target right now and for the life of me, other than his age, I can’t understand why he’s a priority over Simons. Blues cannot let the Garnacho pursuit die and I don’t get it.

Nkunku to Milan for 42M. I guess this opens things up for Garnacho or Simons. Good business for Chelsea.

I think TOT is gonna hijack Simons as we wait for Isak to move to Liverpool in order to squeeze more money for Jackson. That would suck.

Horrible
Not as bad as what Manchester United will do with that money

He is pretty solid, and can play on either side. He is adept at taking on defenders as well. He could be an asset when facing a low block.
I have no issue with the signing.

Agreed
Still, we have agreed to terms with him. He may go to Spurs, but I would imagine that he will hold off as long as possible.

We got so lucky on that VAR, that's not a foul at all

Not used to being the beneficiary of shitty calls. I feel dirty
Posted on 8/30/25 at 8:41 am to olddawg26
it does feel dirty but a win is a win and three points is three points
that was not a foul, and it changed the match
Josh King has a bright future
hope Delap is ok, hamstring issues can linger.
it is a very long season and CFC need all the depth available
KTBFFH

Delaps injury and the need of selling Jackson to Munich couldn’t be worse timing. We looked subpar today and need Palmer back. Take the 3 points tho.

On a positive it is nice to be able to score from corners. I neutralizes the low block. Not fun to watch, but affective.

Looking like we’re trying to cancel the Jackson loan. Sure he’ll love that. Enzo said Delap should only be out 6-8 weeks which seems optimistic. As yall said that might have been the most one sided reffed game I’ve seen in a while. Weird to be on the good end.

You should. That was totally corrupt.
Choke on it.
Choke on it.

I don’t see it as a bad thing.
I preferred that he stay, play, and sell him in January.
His stock should go up, and teams will be desperate.
If that pans out, the irony would be that it may be Delap being sold. Time will tell. Strap in boys!

I agree, retaining jackson and giving him a chance to mature into the job or gain value is a good thing
he is not a natural CF and more time to develop and less pressure could be what he needs
CFC need Delap back though, he is the perfect CF complement to JP

He was more impactful than Drogba. Somehow that gets missed. I still say that he has a tremendous upside.
My thoughts from July in the dead thread:

Lastly, I would prefer to keep Jackson around (for now). Jackson has 34 goal involvements in 65 Premier League matches. In that total, NONE of them were PK’s. Despite his disciplinary concerns (10 yellows and red in the EPL in two seasons), he is still a quality player. With so many matches coming up, I say that we keep him until he bails for the African Cup of nations. Someone is going to be desperate come December, which means we can make bank at that time.

Agreed.
I liked the signing from the get go.
