Our D was solid tonight. Surprising since we were missing brooks. DMB should not have been out there. And bobby woods whiff was just awful.

But I can't be too upset with 1-1 at Ateca, especially when it became apparent early on that we were playing against the ref too. Did they get 1 yellow the whole game?

Our D was so we'll organized and poised, especially considering the roster and schematic changes

Altitude training seemed to really work, so all those $5K tents were worth the investment. We didn't look especially tired at the end of the game.

Bruce, you mad genius.

Cameron was partially responsible for the goal. He failed to step up when the goal scorer moved toward the middle away from DMB..

DMB played very well for a 35 year old. Villafana did not even dress because he was injured...so who do you want playing there? Zusi? DMB gave you 93 minutes and got a bad knock in the 30th minute.

DMB doesn't do anything well anymore, except one thing...WORK HIS frickING arse OFF. If everybody on our team worked like DMB, we would be a top 10 team in the world. He hustled nonstop and simply was there. Sometimes the most important thing is just getting your body between the ball and the player/goal.

We got a 1-1 draw In Mexico using a completely new formation. I will not shite or hate on one single player or coach. Tonight was amazing, and besides one counter play where Wood missed a shot he hits 8 out of 10 times, we completely shut them down.

Amazing the difference when players are told where to be and what to do.

It aint always pretty, but it works.
