Does Greggggggg put Gio at the 8 again like the Mexico game?

For the record I actually thought it was a good idea, he had way more of the ball, which helped in the transition back to offense. And it didn't keep him off the score sheet. I don't think we should do it every game, but it's something he could do tactically if we can't get out of our own half.

Does anyone know if the CONCACAF World Cup qualifiers are available on tv or to stream anywhere? I’ve searched and searched and can’t seem to figure it out.

Any Dest replacement predictions? Scally makes sense but Weah is intriguing

Sargent is out today, and could miss the entire Copa with the foot injury he suffered late in the season. Dude can't catch a break.

Opens a path for Tim Tillman to make a Copa America roster. Still not as bad as Perry Kitchen making the roster in 2016, but still... what a world

I hope we just play Weah there tbh. I would probably even take Weston over Scally.

He’s definitely not playing in these friendlies. If we are lucky he will be healthy enough to play in the actual games.

A podcast I listen to says their source says the midfield will be Johnny and Wes in a double pivot with Gio at the 10 with Musah at RB.

Musah has looked… not great at RB for AC Milan. I wouldn’t mind seeing a double pivot with those two.

Going to this game today. Pretty excited about it even though it’s a friendly.

Good news though boys, there’s a gay pride parade today so soccer is only the 2nd gayest event in DC today, am I right?

It would only make sense if we expect to hold the ball more, which I’m not sure we would in that scenario. It also begs the question of why bring Shaq Moore in if we’re considering Weah, Musah and McKennie in addition to Scally at RB.

Love the lineup minus Scally. Was hoping to see Weah back there and Haji as a second striker, letting Pulisic run around as a 10 and Reyna sink deeper or pull strings, whatever the match calls for.

Just an FYI, the stadium is 90% empty and those that are here are 80% Colombians. But I guess that’s what happens when the cheapest tickets are ~$70 for nose bleeds for an exhibition game.

Just such a shameless money grab from US Soccer to try and get a bunch of Colombians in DC to sell out the stadium.

Glad it’s backfiring in that not even the Colombians are showing up.

They need to overhaul the entire fan experience beginning with more strategic friendly locations that value the American fan, not just the soccer fan

I will revise my post and say maybe it’s closer to 70% empty. The fan base ratio is about the same.

They don't care if it backfires. If they didn't change strategy when that game in Red Bulls stadium was 90% for the other team, it'll never change. Or when we played whoever in Nashville last year in an empty stadium because the cheapest ticket was $75. It's shameful.

But it atleast filled up at Red Bull, even with the Colombians, this isn’t close to filling up. Just terrible optics all around
