Yep. But, isn't Bradley still on loan from Gladbach? Could be tough to have a subsidiary loan deal.

Yeah I don't know what the situation is. I hope he moves somewhere this summer, preferably somewhere with at least a chance of European football.

Mcleiesh going there sucks for young players like Albrighton and Bannon. They have some decent talent that is going to nothing besides try and score on counters and set pieces.

I think Bradley could do well for most Premier league teams. His passing seems to be improving. Maybe not his best day today - couple bad giveaways - but overall he's probably been our most consistent player.

Swansea would be considered a step back, but from what little I saw this year I think all three promoted clubs this year will at least try to play. I don't see a Stoke in that group.

I also just realized why I don't spend much time on bigsoccer anymore. Just looked it up, first topic: "Michael Bradley should move to CB."

Its amazing how much criticism he still gets over there. Amazingly, the nepotism argument is still ongoing. Bob is not an inspiring figure, and maybe there was a time when Michael was playing more than he deserved but he is now clearly a top 5 player for this team (top 6 at worst if you consider Howard, Dempsey, Donovan, Dolo, and Holden to be top five). Its just beyond silly.

I think he is a top three non-keeper player for sure. Bradley never quits and has circulated possession really well this tournament. IMO he has been our best "on pitch" player BY FAR.

right now, on this team, i think bradley is #2 behind dempsey (not counting keepers)

landon finally looked good though. i was happy to see his spark for the first time in this tournament

I can agree with that. If Dempsey's finishing was on par with what he does with Fulham it would not even be a debate. Bradley has been the boss of the mid field in every match so far. IMO Bradley has been our best player thus far in the tournament.

chicarito, brah

i really am liking jones/bradley. after the first game they've really been boss hogs

bedoya looked dangerous and dempsey was his usual awesome self (even with the bad luck)

back line was solid. i love our fullbacks.

i just loved our team today. we played possession ball and did it well (which is not bob's usual tactics)

How Ricketts saved Dempsey's header from two feet away is beyond me.

My bad. I meant US player. The little pea has been on another level for sure. Six goals in group play is astounding.

Dolo and Lichaj are a solid pairing for sure.

If only Lichaj were left-footed. He really is pretty good defensively (except for a tendency to play people onside sometimes) and his ability to get forward gives us so many more attacking options than with Boca out there. But once he gets there its kind of awkward. He clearly doesn't have confidence in his left-footed crosses, so he's always wanting to cut in on his right but that gets a bit predictable and easy to defend at times.

And I think any neutral observer would say Dempsey > Donovan at this point in time. That could change but Dempsey really is in good form, he's just been unlucky and was too casual with that one time against Guadeloupe.

Although, to be fair, he was pretty casual with his goal today. When it works, it looks fairly bad arse. But people would have gone nuts if he'd tried to take it past Rickets and had it taken off his foot today.

How many goals could Clint have this tournament? Could easily have 5 or 6, some of its on him and he's also been unlucky.

It is his only weakness. If we had a Baines or Gibbs type natural left footed player we would be so fricking set. Lichaj is better than the other option for sure.

Yeah but there was talk of making it permanent. I doubt he's going back to M'Gladbach.

He looked very good as a super sub, but he really should have taken a crack at goal on his breakaway. He sometimes seems to me that he lacks the killer instinct.
