Thompson needed to do a little bit better job of keeping that in the corner.

They kind of play the Central American grab-arse game too trying to play so physical to slow down their opponent. It's strange with their level of skill.

Yea, I was hoping for Hungary, they weren't very good. I looked at the last game Columbia played and saw they had 27 fouls and new we were in for a lot of arse grabbing tactics.

A few thoughts from watching the U20 several times now.

Steffen is better than Cropper

Carter-Vickers may be the best center back in the whole USMNT system. Easy to see why Tottenham is so high on him. We need to cap tie that monster.

Ball goes into the box. CCV sends it out

BJIV has a concussion and a sore neck. He's out of the hospital and back with the team.

He'll probably miss the game against Serbia if he has a concussion. Sucks because we are already low on forwards with Tall out.

Watched the game this morning...Zelalem got pushed off the ball A LOT. If U-20 players are doing it to him, I can only imagine what senior level players would do. Definitely a huge part of his development will be gaining strength. Rubin was the top player in the game, save maybe Steffen. CCV was solid, same with Miazga. Dissapointed with the midfield.

Tough match and glad to get that win. That ref was letting them go at it.

You might know this, but keep in mind that Zelalem will be eligible for the next U20 WC cycle, too
