It’s hard out here when you’re 5’4, 325lbs, and support a club battling to stay out of relegation like United, bro.

I tell women it’s 58 so they’re pleasantly surprised when they see my svelte 56 in front of them.

I mean, at this point he is one of the more cogent voices in US soccer

Yep.

He and Ian didn't hold back tonight and it was a breath of fresh air.

God love Stubear, but he hasn't found that voice yet to be critical because he isn't too far removed form playing the program, although he has gotten better at calling out bullshite lately.

I’m ready for all of the US soccer scene to turn against the federation and the lack of results. Looking forward to it, actually.

Me too, which goes right back to that rant where both Twellman and Max are like it's time to have real conversations about the team.

It was such bullshite how over the last decade everyone hated Lalas because he dared to call out the team and the players. Yeah he has a loud personality that can rub people the wrong way, but Lalas has basically predicted everything that is happening right now.

For a guy who consistently has the balls to call out the team, Lalas gets way more hate than he deserves imo

Yep, all because he was critical and the gatekeepers of us soccer fandom couldn't fathom how someone could be critical of their beautiful team.
