I don’t think Claus had anything to do with it. He didn’t call anything on the field. (I stand corrected. F him)

He had everything to do with it. He is the head ref and final decision
VAR asked him to look at it. He can say yes or no. He chose yes.
After not calling absolutely anything the entire game. Clear af yellow cards pulling jerseys of guys breaking away free to goal,, yellow cards for aggressive fouls etc.
He decides an accidental cleat to the back of a calf that he didn't even give a yellow card on the field for, mind you. Was a straight red.

I was watching but wasn’t paying close attention to how it went down. Did he see that the Bosnian was legit hurt instead of the ordinary theatrics and then his pea brain said, oh wait he isn’t faking as usual. We’d better take a closer look.
