F Nott scoreless against Fiorentina today in a tie. I guess that’s something to celebrate

I’m going to go out on a limb and say Ode ends this season with more g/a than Tel.

I’m with you, I think Ode is going to be special. But I think both struggle without a solid number 10 to take some pressure off.

DV all you want but I’m getting tired of all the Son farewells and updates. Maybe it’s that we don’t have any movement that augments the situation.

I don’t mind the Son farewells, just wish there was more info on transfers. I am of the opinion that we aren’t going to miss him as much as most think, playing wise, that is.

Since my prognostications have been incredibly accurate lately, I still think Frank will just rotate Sarr, Berg, and Archie in the 8 and 10. Maybe even Kudus sometimes. That leaves Biss/JP (maybe Archie) in the 6 and sometimes Benta in the 6 and 8.

Btw, having Archie in the 8 last match was a revelation I’d say.

Son to LAFC? I did not realize he'd dropped in quality such that he was ready for America.

33, repeated injuries and losing steps. Had a good run and going out on top. Now he can go to the retirement league and relax.

It was an inevitable outcome having seen it live, but damn I feel bad for the guy... rough couple of years..

Injury FC is back!!

Gutted for the guy. That’s got to be it for his playing days. He’ll be great in broadcasting in one way or another.

Is Sarr playing the “10” and Johnson on the left?

Romero forgot it’s a friendly, knocking Diaz every chance

Dom can’t get here soon enough. We need another 9. Playing with Riche is playing a man down.

A lack of offense puts extra weight on the defense and it’s not sustainable

It’s so obvious we lack the 10 with Sarr.

Didn’t start watching until about the 20th minute, but it was complete domination by Bayern. Goretzka alone should’ve had 2-3 goals in just that 25 minute window. Just one way traffic. Tottenham couldn’t hold the ball for even a short spell. Midfield completely outclassed. If this is the squad, as it stands now, it’s going to be a long long season…again.

quote:

Not a great half. Glad Richy is getting some shots in but they're all from distance and won't be dangerous against Neuer. Pape Sarr just looks so lost out there. I like the kid quite a bit, but his energy just doesn't add up to how dynamic Bayern's passing is around their midfield. Kudus is electric, but he needs to have something to do with the ball once he breaks through.
