I think this was a very solid window. We upgraded the 1st team and with that we have added to our depth. There will be plenty of minutes for everyone. My only gripe is a replacement for BJ, but I think one of the other guys will eventually beat him out.

No left wing. We better hope odobert or tel figure it out quickly and start being productive.
Basically just kudus & simons, and a cheap Japanese defender who is already hurt and will likely never have an impact. Loans in palhinha & muani. Sorry levy, you don’t get to count danso & tel for two windows.
6/10 at best.

I’m happy about the JP and Kudus signings, but let’s be honest, we got lucky with Xavi and RKM. There was no planning for those last two, and glad Chelsea didn’t pull the trigger and Juve doesn’t have any money.

100%. That’s why levy always leaves it late. He just looks for a deal. It rarely feels like there’s a concrete target they’re going after.
ETA: I do think RKM has the potential to be a big upgrade on richarlison and solanke. Especially in games where we are setup to counter attack. But not having a buy option in the loan will keep me from ever getting excited about him. I guess if it works out it can be negotiated down the line if all three parties want it.

I think that will be the case. PSG don’t need him back.

Guys, I watched a lot of Juve last year and RKM was the best player on the field every match. His work rate is top notch. I’m just trying to figure out how he doesn’t start at the 9 and wondering who would be on the left. It can’t be Johnson or Richy.
International break is doing my head in. I want to see how Frank lines everything up now!

With Udogie back, anyone think Spence replaces Porro? I know we have plenty of matches to give them all work, but Spence has played so well.

We need them to all rotate and I can see Frank making tactical decisions. For example it was obvious that Bournemouth were trying to isolate Semenyo on Porro all game. Starting Spence on the right and Udogie on the left would have helped, but putting Spence on the right vs Arsenal, Liverpool, United, etc make sense because their best attackers play on the right.
That Bournemouth game sucked, but I think Iraola set them up perfectly to take advantage of our squad weakness at the moment which is ball progression. I honestly think that game does a complete 180 if we were able to start Xavi at the 10 and Bergvall at the 8 next to Palhinha. We didn’t have anyone in the midfield that could carry or pass out of pressure so we were never able to take advantage of the space left behind their press. Xavi instantly changes that.
