What a lucky draw for Atletico. No one I’d rather face in the CL knockouts than this version of Spurs.

Yea I don't see Spurs winning another game, they've somehow gotten worse after sacking Frank.

You have to give it up to them tbh. Just when you think they couldn’t embarrass themselves, or the club, any further, they always find a way.

Ange on TNT: “I’m still invested in the club because I have an attachment to those players I worked with them for two years. The last time I had an interaction with the fans was with 200,000 of them on the streets of London, it pains me to see it, it definitely looks like the players are feeling lost at the minute, there’s obvious pressure there and it’s a real difficult time, it’s all kind of manifested with what happened last night, it’s almost the worst case scenario of playing away against Atletico Madrid who never drop to a performance level of 2 they are always at a strong level. It just was a horror start”
You know these players well what do they need?
“It’s hard for me to say and me speaking about it kind of skews the argument, what’s really important is that no way that anyone would objectively say that these players are performing at the level they are capable of, you just somehow have to try and ease the pressure somehow on them. Even last night I thought it was a tremendous opportunity for them, they’ve done really well in the Champions League they are on the good side of the draw, Atletico away is tough but you still have to take them back to Tottenham it just felt like the pressure was there.”
“I’m sure they would have trained on the pitch the night before but the amount of times they were slipping over I think that’s still pressure, real desperation in everything you do, you guys will know when you’re a player(talking to Joe Cole & McManaman) mentally you’re desperate and that manifests itself to physically you’re lunging for things, you’re rushing things, they just need to, look it’s hard for me to comment from the outside but for me it’s just about instilling some belief, show them the kind of players they are not what they can be, but what they are and what they have shown.”
When asked about the backing managers get at the club and the expectations of the fans:
“Look that’s a broader argument but the reality is they have to deal with now that’s the most important thing, the football club I said a couple of weeks ago it wasn’t behaving like a big football club in terms of the kind of players they are attracting but it is a big football club, we saw that last year, I said there was a couple hundred thousand people going nuts and I felt just how big of a football club it is, but in the Premier League it’s a slippery slope once you take your eye off the ball, but all that’s not important right now, what’s important is where they are in the league, they need to maintain their Premier League status, which is obviously paramount to what they want to build, and those kind of questions you go well ok we need some real direction here, the fans I think it’s pretty clear what the Tottenham fans want, they want their team to play a certain way, they want success, every club wants success”

I was there a month ago, it’s not bad if you have a driver and you don’t have to pay attention lol.
