Same, our midfield is gutted.

If Deki finds his early season form as a CAM we will be fine, if his current form continues we have no chance.

Yeah, and the weather sucks, but we can’t hold possession to save our lives.

I actually thought that was an uncharacteristically composed and professional European road performance. It was an away game in the Arctic Cirle on a wet, cold, artificial pitch. They didn’t create any big chances despite having more of the ball. I imagine that is what it has been like for PL fans watching their teams against us this season.

The trick is not to have hope to begin with…..but could we?

This would mean going 4-0 vs ManU this season, only this time with a depleted midfield. ManU also just played an away match in Bilbao and won handily, so they also have a venue advantage.

I have zero hope for a win here, but I also thought the away match yesterday would be a disaster and it was anything but.

None of that is relevant to be honest. The biggest hurdle is our mentality in these big games. Bergvall started one of the three games this season. Danso, Gray, Davies, and Radu have been our CB’s in the last two. Udogie has played in one game. Hell Timo Werner started in the 3-0 win at the beginning of the season.

United have had their share of injuries and different lineups as well. The fact is both teams have started a different lineup each time and we have found a way to win.

This is as good of an opportunity to win a trophy as we will have so hopefully the boys embrace that and show up in a big way.

Congrats on the win and good luck in the Final ! Spurs Europa run has provided me my Thursday afternoon soccer fix several times this season. You won't be surprised by this news but pretty much every Scouser on the planet will be pulling hard for Tottenham.

Doesn't need to be pretty. Just find a way to get it over the line.
