Great to see all the transfers play.
The one position that puzzles me in regards to expected play is right wing. Lucas came on for Royal and I hope that’s a permanent thing. Lucas has the work ethic and finishing ability that Royal lacks. I know Conte is experimenting, but it will be interesting to see what happens there.
Also frustrating to see Sessegnon doing Sessegnon things. Waiting for him to develop and be a solid threat going forward, but still looking young and naive.

I didn't get to watch but I agree seeing all the signings get some playing time is great! Lucas didn't stay at RWB for long. I'm not sure what Conte will do with that position, but it seems like no one wants to claim it.
We have a ton of depth now so I'm looking forward to seeing how those on the bench do during Cup matches. 2 weeks and counting!

Definitely good problems we’re having.
I can see why we signed Spence. Will be exciting to see his flashes. Perisic gives us the maturity on the left and the man is a work horse. Kulu struggled greatly but I’m not worried.

It’s about time BCK. Thought you’d moved on somewhere else lol.
We usually have about 8-10 I believe that post here.

Nah, still here.
Could have a special season ahead of us, but I'm really just here for the Ben Davies redemption arch. (Unfortunately I don't think the same will happen for my boy Winks.)

Your boy Winks will go somewhere else and kill it! Davies is a freaking wonder, he’s definitely made the most of Conte. Going to be a fun season.

Looking forward to this season. The next 2-3 years may be special.

I’m sure I’ll get grief for this but I’m honestly concerned that our biggest weakness last year was by far RWB and we haven’t really addressed that. Spence might be good but conte is strongly suggesting he was a club signing. Doherty had a good run until he got hurt. Royal isn’t a RWB. Lucas might slot in.
I don’t know. Just seems like we are more hopeful here than actually solving the issue.
Obviously love the window overall. Legit depth now across the board and still a few weeks to go. Wouldn’t be surprised at all to see us bring in one more offensive minded player and another CB.

Davies with a new contract! He’s about to take us to the top of the table!

Well deserved. Guy improved and thrived under Conte.

Inside of two weeks! Refreshing to start this season without all the negativity of years past. Looking forward to seeing how our new signings fit in and how we look with a full Conte preseason.
Anyone have any idea what Conte's preferred midfield pairing is gonna be? I really want to see Bentancur and Bissouma together(no disrespect to Hojbjerg), but I have a feeling we're gonna get Hojbjerg and Bentancur to start.
Between the last three windows I think we have taken the necessary steps to overhaul the squad. Romero, Bentancur, Perisic, & Kulusevski have all improved our starting 11. I could see Bissouma and Spence in the starting 11 by the middle of the season. Lenglet is still a question mark, but he definitely has shown the ability in the past to challenge Davies for the starting LB spot. Crazy to think that if Bissouma, Spence, & Lenglet force their way into the starting 11 we will have replaced 7 our of 11 posistions in a little over a year.
I would still love to see us sign a CAM this summer. Having that tactical flexibility is really important especially against the bottom of the table and early cup opponents. If we don't sign one I wonder if Conte will experiment with Richy and Son up front with Kane playing behind them in a midfield 3 as a true #10.
COYS!

I think we've assembled a solid squad, but an extra CAM and CB would give us two legitimately top tier starting 11s, which you almost have to have to succeed in multiple competitions.
GK: Lloris/Forster
LCB: Davies/Lenglet
CB: Dier/???
RCB: Romero/Sanchez
LWB: Perisic/Sessegnon
RWB: Royal/Spence (or Doherty)
CM: Hojberg/Skipp
CM: Bentancur/Bissouma
AML: Son/???
AMR: Kulusevski/Lucas
F: Kane/Richarlison
GK: Lloris/Forster
LCB: Davies/Lenglet
CB: Dier/???
RCB: Romero/Sanchez
LWB: Perisic/Sessegnon
RWB: Royal/Spence (or Doherty)
CM: Hojberg/Skipp
CM: Bentancur/Bissouma
AML: Son/???
AMR: Kulusevski/Lucas
F: Kane/Richarlison

Joe Rodon and the Welsh Mafia send their regards. He may not be the guy, but I feel like he's never gotten a run out either.

I still think Bryan Gil is worth hanging on to.
Either way, this is the most quality depth that Spurs have had in years.

I'd honestly put a healthy Doherty as number 1 at RWB.
I've been a Spurs fan for over a decade now. We finished last season on a tremendous high. We have the best manager/coach possible. We have done everything right in this transfer market. And I find it strange how good I feel about next season. It just feels different this off-season.

Completely agree. He may not be ready for the EPL now, but I think he can be special.

I agree, but I’m so high in this next season, that I’m impatient. Conte is right in that needing a championship run we need the depth but I don’t want to wait 2 more seasons for that to happen.
