If Spurs can finally beat Chelsea next weekend I will actually allow myself to be hopeful.
Chelsea has dominated the matchup in recent years.

Good point. They will want to bounce back from their poor showing. I’ve got a feeling we won’t be intimidated…

I think dominated is the correct word. I can’t remember the last time I felt we had a chance to win against Chelsea. I’d be optimistic before the match but once it started I never felt we could win.

10 years ago I was at Stamford Bridge and watched Tottenham tie the Blues 0-0. Walking out of the stadium, the Spurs fans were singing/chanting/shouting as if we won 5-0. Blues were so annoyed, fights were breaking out like a giant mosh pit and throwing bottles, and the police on horses had to separate the fan bases, all the while walking parallel to the underground. I was both scared shiteless and equally exhilarated.
But I’m sick of settling.
10 years later, I want such a gutting loss for the snooty blues that they all turn into early to mid-20th century French existentialists, and I want Tottenham to dominate with the force of a runaway beer-train, making a statement to the rest of the league that they’re now on notice.
Conte and crew are coming for your throats!

Had to avoid the board all day as I was just now able to catch up on earlier games. Love that ginger Swede. Really solid, and fun, first game back.
Also, shout out to Romero, ffs. Twitter.

Anyone considering a trip to London when the Saints play? I know not everyone is a Saints fan too but that would be a cool weekend. We play Arsenal that weekend so going to the Saints game then catching Spurs Vs Arsenal in a pub would be pretty epic.

Do it. In 2012 I saw the Rams play the Patriots at Wembley. Hilarious experience as the lone American amongst a bunch of Brit’s not knowing how to act at an American football game lol.

Went to the last Saints London game in 2017. Spurs were in Huddersfield Town that wkd and the other high profile game in London was Man City/Chelsea so no chance in hell I was getting a ticket.
Ended up going to the West Ham/Swansea match at London Olympic Stadium. Obviously not a fan of either but the environment was very cool and a stoppage time winner at the end. Very highly recommend it.

If that happens next week, I will be sooooo happy.
Words might not describe my emotions if we destroy em...

Italian outlet CMW claim that Roma have turned down an offer worth £46.4million from Tottenham for Nicolo Zaniolo. The report also indicates that Tottenham could return with an improved offer before the end of the transfer window.
Negotiations haven’t fully fallen apart. Zaniola has expressed wanting to leave recently, but it seems Roma wants more out of this deal than just the cash and maybe more Spurs player(s) add ons.

Looks like Destiny Udogie makes #7 for this window. Paratici obviously has a plan and I’m here for it.

Tier 1 source. Looks to be another loan. Best of luck to Gio he’s a talented guy but just couldn’t make it work here

I'm hoping the World Cup bumps his stock up for a possible permanent sell in January or next summer.

I like the loan with no option a whole lot better than the reported low buy options. I think more time in Spain plus the World Cup will increase his value.

I can't express the relief I feel from not having to watch Spurs play against Antonio Rudiger tomorrow.
