I agree that Vlad was a bit scary, but you are higher on Mason than me. He has trouble finding good weight on forward balls, and it drives me insane.

We just got really confident.

Mason's had his mistakes too, plus he's a bit overconfident with his scoring capabilities. But I didn't think he had a bad game.

Great performance today though.

Wasn't really expecting to be in 7th at this point when the weekend started but it's a pretty good position all things considered.

I made the point about a few positive results putting us back into champions league contention. We are still have a lot of fixtures coming up that can make or break our season.

The chances are obviously extremely slim, but if we somehow beat Chelsea on Wednesday, it would completely turn our season around.

Great win today boys!!!

I love the shite out of Mason... He continues to play solid in the middle. Benteleb over Lamela had me scratching my head though. I think this may be just what we needed to get a spark. A draw against Chelsea mid week would send our confidence through the roof.

We are at a strange crossroads. These next two to three weeks will make our break our season. Even a moral victory would madly motivate our team. We played a hell of a game against a quality side with Everton, gained tons of confidence between the two victories this week, and a positive result against Chelsea could do wonders.

Pochetinno has to know how important this is. You could see his emotion on the sideline when Soldado scored. He wants AND needs this team to win.

Mason is fine, but he will never be a special player. He just doesn't have a beautiful ball (pass or shot). I do like his defensive energy though. Also, I love Lamela, but I actually like bringing him on to run at tired defenders. Sometimes he gets taken out of the game early on when teams bully him off the ball, but he is at a huge advantage when he comes on late.

I tend to agree, but we are leaving our second best player on the bench for 2/3's of the game. This frustrates me when he should be out there making things happen, and helping us get a lead. If we get behind, it is like he has to come in and save us with minimal minutes.

Not sure about that. He has been what y'all have missed. A player who recycles possession and has his head up, just like CE. Kane has been a solid young player as well. Spurs went all athletic in last years transfer window in the mid-field. Mason is more technical and that is what you need.

All of this... I just want to roll in it.

I've been impressed with Mason. All young players make some mistakes, but he seems to have "it". And will most likely be a mainstay as long as Levy has the patience to keep Mauricio. You need stability at the top, not panic firings.

I have liked Mason a lot... He plays smart, but is not afraid to let them fly. Spurs seem to bog down in the final third and not get shots off. Benteleb on the other hand, doesn't do much for me.

Your mid-field is so much more fluid this year. You don't have 4 of the same players playing. In the front you have issues, Ade is terrible, Soldado still needs to prove he is an EPL striker. Kane has been your best. I'd seriously unload Ade to some mid-table Serie A or Ligue 1 team in January. He is a fricking cancer and has never played for the team. Except when on loan to Real Madrid. Because he was hoping for a permanent move to the top team in the world. Yeah, that didn't happen.

Maybe you're right about Mason. I'm also very high on Stambouli. He has looked good so far.
