This. I really enjoy watching him play.

I missed the game because my phone died and alarm didn't go off. And it's not on nbc replay for some reason.

This.

But, who comes off in favor of him? Y'all's better goal scoring form is linked to getting Ericksen back from injury. The addition of his creativity and technical ability has made Spurs so much better. He is a better version of Siggy.

ETA: I've been following Ericksen for some time now and really wanted Arsenal to buy him years ago, just to keep him out of any of our rivals hands.

That's the thing... I think Eriksen is better, and I couldn't 100% say who I would want to see off for Siggy. For this reason, he will squander on the bench until he has had enough and demand to be sold.

I don't think there is really a place for him. He will never take Eriksen's spot and he's not strong on the wings. And CM is one place where we have a shitload of good players competing for time. He has good technique and can score, but unless Eriksen gets hurt I don't think he should be getting minutes.

Awesome game today though I really like how the team is looking right now. Eriksen is the man and Ade is playing lights out. Also, Vlad needs to stop getting his face smashed by other dudes foreheads

I agree that Eriksen is the driver in performance recently, he understands getting service to the strikers. I know he and Chadli don't really play the same role, but I'd rather see Gylfi on the field over him. Or, honestly, I'd take Gylfi over Dembele.

I pondered this as well, but when Dembele is on he is great to have in midfield. He has taken the Scotty Parker roll, and I like it.

DISCLAIMER *When he isn't having a good game it is a totally different story.*

And that's my problem with Dembele.

Yeah... It seems like a coin flip as to which Dembele you will get, IMO

I like having Chadli up there for his size and speed, but I would be really interested to see Lamela in that role. I think he could kill it with Ade

It's a nice idea to have Chadli's size and speed, but I really haven't seen any benefit from him being on the pitch.

Chadli has no confidence playing the final ball for us. It's weird. I think he panics when he sees an opportunity. It's almost like he never expects to see one. He is clearly talented, figuring he has broken into the lineup at Belgium.

Yeah he definitely has been lacking that final ball. Not putting that shot on target in the box was pretty bad. I just like having someone on set pieces that will actually be a force in the box. I'm just gonna let Sherwood keep doing his thing and not question it. I loved the naughton for lennon sub to lock up the game. I think walker is the fastest man alive

Anyone who says that Sherwood is simply a motivator is an idiot. Naughton has looked bad at left back for us, but he is a very solid right back. The decision gave us two natural defenders on the right, and Kyle is still a baller offensively. Sometimes I wonder if Walker has the potential to make the move to the wing like Bale did on the left. He likes to take free kicks (with his cannon leg) and he has unbelievable speed. Walker is one of my favorite players. He's definitely still a kid, but he loves playing for Spurs.

His increase in consistency from last year to this year has been huge. He would always seem to make a dumb mistake or 2 a game last year, but has probably been our best player this year.

I wouldn't mind seeing him on the right mid more he's got some good moves and pace plus that thunder boot like you said. Him and the other Kyle work well together

Everton tied West Brom today. That gives us the 5 spots (and tied for the 4th spot). We are back in Europe! I actually was predicting a tie today, as Everton and West Brom have the most draws in the Premier League.

I honestly believe beating Liverpool in the standing is our only chance. Man city should pull away maybe with Chelsea within striking distance then arsenal third. We won't beat Liverpool likely in GD unless something really dramatic happens, so best shot is to pass them in points. Should be a fun three way battle between us, Liverpool an Everton think Man U will taste some Europa next year!

Most definitely. I think that Arsenal, City and Chelsea have locked up the top 3 spots. 4 and 5 are between Pool, Everton, Spurs and United.

I'm really pumped about Wednesday. I wish we were playing tomorrow. Ugh. This team has had lots of time to rest. I wonder if Paulinho will be healthy by Wednesday. He looked so good in his one game under Sherwood.
