Looks like Sandro will be back soon. He's back training with the team, this will help a lot.

This thread needs a bump as we are no longer on the first page.

So, since Spurs somehow lost to West Ham in the Capital One Cup and have no midweek game, how about we talk about transfer rumors. Anyone heard any? Only thing I have heard is Lamela wants to go back to Italy.

So do we try and buy a striker in this window with Defoe's departure? I think we need to have at least one more option along side Soldado and Adebayor.

I think Sherwood likes Harry Kane. We just need to get healthy and win games.

I would like to get a striker, but I would much rather another LB. We are way too short handed in the back line and it scares me.

I would love both, but if we are going to skimp on one side I would rather it be on the striker front.

I guess now we can make a move on some badly needed upgrades.

Not a bad fee for Defoe.

Terrible first half but an excellent second. Sweet shot by eriksen and Defoe gets his little foot behind a goal. Finally back into the positives on goal differential

Agreed. Was glad to see Walker get taken off. He needs to understand that his bad form of late has really hurt the team, and that he isn't an "automatic starter." I think he was feeling "Too safe."

And now that we are out of the FA and Capital One we will get more rest and be able to focus on Europe and BPL. (And hopefully get past our injury woes)

Great place on BPL table, turning around our GD, and really will know where we are at after a hellish Feb and March. Favorable schedule in April and May.

I really believe this is true of all our midfielders. They seem to play slow moving the ball and are hesitant to take any chances when close to the box. Ade didn't exactly make himself available either.

2nd half was much better. We need to make a move for a defender to help sure up the back line.

We are only 2 points out of the top 4 think we are in a great position I believe still haven't fully clicked. Should be a fun second half

Walker looked hungover he played some terrible balls and just wasn't himself. I thought naughton played really well on the right.

It will be really nice to get some more of our players back from injury. I like how even with our "disappointing" season we're only 2 pts off 4th if Pool win tomorrow and at most 8 pts off 1st.

Nice win. Defoe with a bit of a swan song.

The penalty miss was awful. I'm going to post a .gif.

ETA:

I can honestly say that I have never missed a penalty this badly, even in practice when I was experimenting with stuff.

Didn't get to watch the match...but holy shite that PK was terrible.

Good to hear that Walker got sent a message. Maybe he'll stop being such a little bitch on the pitch.
