With all our injuries, how do you guys think we approach the FA cup?

Hopefully Ade is fit for this game I would love to see how he celebrates if he scores against arsenal. We have a week until our next game after this one so I would like to put a strong team out there.
Ade Soldado
Eriksen capoue dembele Lennon

In all seriousness, that is a strong lineup. I think we can beat them. Game is on Fox. Pretty cool.

This would be nice, I really expected him to miss some games.

@SpursOfficial: Our line-up - Lloris; Walker, Chiriches, Dawson, Rose; Lennon, Bentaleb, Dembele, Eriksen; Adebayor, Soldado. #THFC

Going with the 4-4-2 again. Not sure how I feel about this against a team that has the midfield arsenal does.

Is there an issue with Lamela right now that he doesn't even make the squad?

BTW both us and Arsenal really got screwed with this early FA Cup matchup. But I guess Fox gets their big $$ game.

Lamela is really struggling to learn English and such. He has flashes of brilliance, but he is definitely still adjusting to the physicality of the league. He would have gotten the start today if we played a worse team.

Morning gentlemen... I hope TS cements his spot as a coach with a W today against the gooners.

I'm really struggling to learn spanish!! It's not easy for sure. I still want to see him on the field though finding his way.

I hope we put up a great effort today. I'd like to see slightly more possession than we had in the MANU game. My god, if Soldado could finish just a few more of his chanes.

I'm loving Sherwood. If we look respectable today, I will be pleased.

Me too man... It's funny how now I am excited to wake up and watch the games. Earlier in the season it was more like a chore. This team is fun to watch now!

Ade not doing much today. Eriksen is needed in the midfield, maybe a Chadli for Ade switch is needed.

I like what we had going in the 1st half... Eriksen needed to bury that early chance he had. We will score, and hopefully hang on to bring this thing back to The Lane

We're really missing vertonghen, paulinho, and Sandro right now. I had hope they would find an equalizer but once Rose got his pocket picked I didn't see us coming back. Passing in the final third was terrible and corners are worthless.

And Sherwood said in his pregame presser that Lamela was injured (thigh I think?).

Crickets in this thread.

Playing a flat 4 in midfield when the wingers don't cut in to help defend against a team that is +1 and passes as well as Arsenal will get you beat every time. As a Gooner, I hope this will be Tottenham's team shape when we meet at White Hart Lane in March.

See you next time Spuds!

Was hoping Sherwood would prove he was amazing today, but it was a tough one today. Team struggled to attack the final third.

Yup, I think we played ok considering our injuries. We kept it close until Roses' brain fart. Despite this loss I can see a difference with Sherwood.

We have got to find a way to finish, way too many open chances wasted. At least make the keeper work, between shots right at the keeper and Saldados' wide shot on what seems to be every shot they don't have to do too much.
