Definitely. It was one of my first thoughts after watching the match. As much as I like the man, it's time to get a younger back-up. I understand that Friedel is our Europa GK, but with the weekend off in the league I was hoping that Lloris would have gotten the nod.

Agreed. Not sure if he's just gassed or what. But I don't think he's used to getting this much action over the course of a season (not that many of our other players are). I was actually impressed with Walker last night. I've been down on him lately for acting like a little bitch. But he kept that to a minimum. He had very good pace and overall played very well defensively for us.

I'm done with him. I was so pumped we bought him from City...boy was I wrong. It seems as though he has the Aaron Brooks syndrome. He just doesn't look to be putting in the effort we need.

Not much to say here. We choked. Basel was money. Friedel did get close to the first kick...but that doesn't really matter. Normally I would have been pissed that Huddlestone was taking the first PK, but I'm not really sure who else we had that wasn't just absolutely gassed that could have taken the PK.

This all depends on how truly "fit" Bale, Lennon and Defoe come back. We need these guys. All three push the pace of the game offensively which is our strong suit.
