doesnt seem like RL has been a cancer, at least not publicly
until now
no surprise this Italian Media interview happens just before the Jan transfer window opens
at his price, inter cant afford him and nobody else will want him
he has screwed himself unless he can make amends with TT and the club

Don’t forget about Timo. He was actually playing pretty well before he got sick.
TT is to meet with Lukaku tomorrow and I’m sure things will be smoothed over as RL isn’t going anywhere.

Him going to Dortmund in a swap for Haaland would be nice.
Haaland stays in the Champions League, Dortmund gets a stack of cash and a world class forward (which they won’t get in 6 months), Chelsea gets rid of a headache, Lukaku gets a fresh start. Come summer, Dortmund can send him to Inter for some cash.
Pipe dreams I know, but why not?

Dortmund likes them young and RL is soon to be out of his prime.

They did get Emre Can at 26 and take older former players.
But is rare because Can is only example I can think of off top of head and it was a surprise to me

True.
However, he would only be there through the end of the year.
Again...
He is quality (top 5 arguably worldwide)
It is short term (Back it Inter)
They get a stack of cash that won’t be coming their way otherwise
Dortmund is happy
He is happy
Inter is happy
Chelsea has their top target
TT and Roman are happy
Haaland is in the Champions League
We win again - the fans are happy
In short, a win, win, win, win, win, win, win, win, win scenario.

Word is that Haaland wants La LIGA. But that could be bluster from his agent.

Just dropping in to say screw Lukaku
Agreed.

We should drop him and go false nine with a front line of CP—Kai—MM the rest of the way.
We'd be lucky to finish top 4.

Shocking I tell you. Let the healing begin!

I know the CL got rid of away goals but what about Carabao?

Puligoat not starting tonight. Resting him for the important matches.

Dominant performance today. Refreshing to see Blues not allow a shot on goal until 50 mins in. Kane and Son were non-factors. Surprisingly good play from Saul and if he can find his form, he can be useful. Ziyech and Sarr also played well. Even Conte’ admitted after the match how outclassed Spurs were and that’s without Kante and Silva on the pitch. Love Kai scoring after his absence. Well done Blues

I know Tuchel said they played 4 at the back due to a lack of center backs, but I thought they looked really good in that system -- maybe for the first time. Took a lot of pressure off the wingbacks. Alonso, in particular, really benefitted from being the extra attacker rather than the primary attacker on the left wing.

Our lack of wingbacks contributed to that formation as well as the lack of centrebacks. I liked it too. And Rom really garners so much attention up top that it frees up Timo and Kai.

The cause of the Lukaku dust up? Tuch called him fat:
What a bitch Rom is. Frick that dude.
quote:
Tuchel reportedly called upon Lukaku to his office and questioned him about why he was not as fast and physical on the pitch. The player did not like getting quizzed over his weight and went on to give the controversial interview to Sky Italia.

Chesterfield just overmatched today. 5-0 currently and even Timo bagged one.
