Our midfield keeps losing possession in terrible spots. It's just been terrible individual errors more than getting broken down (Jorginho vs. United, Mendy and Jorginho vs. West Ham, Barkley and Saul vs. Zenit, Alonso yesterday). Getting our two center mids back will fix a lot of these issues. Just hope we haven't lost touch with City and Pool by then.

With that said, why is no consideration being given to recall Gallagher from Palace? He was phenomenal today and has been all season. Kante is great but breaks down regularly, Kovacic is down, Jorginho is being worn down and playing with pain, and Barkley isn’t a serious option. Makes perfect sense to bring him back in January.

CG would instantly make us a better squad. I would hate him to lose his everyday playing time though. The kid is a staple for CP and he would be rotational at best for us.

Lille in the round of 16. Definitely the best result for Chelsea.

Any word who the 3 new COVID positives are? Just seeing 3 are out vs. the Toffees.

No word. Hopefully the match will still be played. I was hopeful this would be a less challenging match as Toffee’s are missing Richarlison but now with three “prominent” Blues out, no telling how this will go. Chelsea is still a deep club but that depth will be tested today.

Got a feeling there’s going to be a pause in play for a little while. Virus is spreading fast there and affecting many matches.

Completely dominate possession in the first half with some good opportunities but nothing. Just need one because Toffees are just not threatening.

Seriously, Saul sucks so much dong. It seems impossible for a professional to be so bad.

Also, why do we turn into such tards when we get a lead?

Lol, Saul almost again.

Blues are in a bad way. Complete garbage. Cannot score. Against a shite Everton squad. This is where City and Liverpool pull away.

Stopping Chelsea is simple. Play 4 defenders and pack it in. Blues cannot figure out how to break this. This halfcourt keep the ball away from defenders and hope to slip one in offensive philosophy blows. No wonder Haaland doesn’t want to come here, no striker in their right minds would. CP is totally ineffective in this set.

Sorry I’m pissed

Well if we had a striker we probably wouldn't be having such an issue being one dimensional. Also, it's not like we aren't scoring. We get goals we just can't keep a lead to save our lives. We have led in the last like 5 or 6 games that we have dropped points. In the second half too.

He set the table regularly. When he didn’t get the ball, his runs drew defenders. In short, he had a pretty good match imho. The rest of the squad...not so much. They wasted a shot ton of legit opportunities.
