So who’s starting the Blues ‘21-‘22 thread?

Give them 130mm plus Jorginho.

If not Haaland, I’d love Lewandowski. I know he’s 32 but he has at least 2-3 more good years ahead of him. He’s a scorer plain and simple.

Further to this, the report states Chelsea want Lewandowski if they cannot land Haaland this summer, and the ‘numbers’ Chelsea are offer are ‘interesting’ for Lewandowski.

Not sure if 130MM pounds will do it.

His release clause is what 75M? That’s overpaying by 55M to sign him before the clause becomes active. Not so long ago 55M would have been a world record fee.

Haaland is leaving, are they really going to turn that down just to have him another year...

making it to the rd16 in the UCL and finishing top4 in the buli this year would basically offset the difference, and all of that would be extremely difficult losing both haaland and sancho this year. obv thats a risk on Dortmund's side, but one that isnt totally unreasonable to take.

Reading some hype about Conor Gallagher, Dujon Sterling, and Malang Sarr.

Maybe making a stand against the youth exodus? Promoting some younger players to the first team? Could Gallagher eventually supplant Jorginho, making RandySavage's dreams come true?

And then, literally any able bodied human to replace Werner....

i hope this happens too. i think his game would translate well into yall's midfield and would give me an extra reason to keep an eye on leeds. would be a great prove-it loan spot.

I would agree with this, but I think Chelsea is playing hardball here. If we sign Lewa, Munich is going to be looking for a forward. Dortmund has to know how that will play out.

While I love that look, I would prefer the following:

Camavinga for Jorginho
McKennie for Kante / Kovacic

Supposedly Timo is open to going back to Germany. Evidently, Chelsea may make him part of the deal for Haaland.

Kounde would shore up the back line.

Right-Center (James at wing back)
22 years old
3 years left on his deal

He is a solid defender that passes the ball well out of the back.

well, know next nothing so hope its a good deal. Zouma plus anything over 25m seems like a steep price for a 5'10ish CB, but he does seem to have some really great ball skills, and TT does have the CBs rushing into the midfield in and out of possession pretty often.

cant help but think this hurts the chances of Livramento re-upping. i know we needed a CB so not super surprised, but bringing in an RCB likely means seeing less of reece in that spot and less opportunity for RB/RWB rotation.

This one's for Randy ...

had the stream for a little bit there but all errors now.

gllagher is fun to watch, basically a sledgehammer.

looked like Baker was playing as the central CB in a back 3, from my limited window of availability.
