You do realize both Mendy and Gabriel Jesus have both said one of the main reasons they came to City was to play for Pep, right?

Well Benzema isn't leaving. So are you going to have M'Bappe not playing regularly? I doubt he's going to want to leave knowing he isn't first choice at the moment when he can stay and be the man at Monaco
That's more likely than Real Madrid letting James, Morata, and Bale go; replacing them with Mbappe; then starting Borja Mayoral in a CL knockout game when they inevitably have injury issues

It's funny bc it's Jose but he does have a point. He's never been really reckless with how he spends paying way over the odds for his players, other than Pogba.
Also Koeman saying Barkley 100% will be leaving

Koeman quote on Barkley:
“His situation is not too difficult, we made a good offer of a contract, he declined and told me that he is looking for a new challenge. I need to respect that.
It is not Everton future any more, it is his decision but the board say there is no offer on the table for Ross.”
I think Everton signing quality players that can play his position would be a challenge...

Ross would have been well advised to master his present challenge before moving on, IMO.
I don't really care because I didn't grow up watching him in the academy. Get the money and continue improving the team.

I think it's best for all parties at this point.
Now I'm really regretting buying that Ross shirt over a Coleman shirt two years ago.

He's declined since the world cup and isn't as durable. Most of the former is due to attitude. I was more pissed when we sold Arteta.

We need to raise the price on Gylfi from £50M to £55M now

Davy Klaassen is gonna run Barkley out of town, eh?

He can score 50-yard goals, though, and that's what counts.

Jonathan dos Santos to the LA Galaxy seems more and more likely each day. He'd be joining his older brother, but that move would anger most Mexican fans.
I'm not sure even both brothers together can make LA a good team this year. We'll see.

Quite clear that M'Bappe will sign w/ City after the match last night.

Barca talking to Mbappe again as a replacement for Neymar

Oh, so we're back on this?

In an effort to end the speculation, Sky Sports Spanish football expert Guillem Balague has said Barcelona asked the 25-year-old to message the club's fans on social media to make it clear he wants to stay. He has not done that yet and what was once transfer gossip now looks like becoming a real possibility.

I'm starting to get to a "wake me up when it's over" stance on this Neymar thing.
