I think United would be smarter to go after Wanyama, honestly.

It's a legitimately bold strategy by Neymar to leave Barcelona for the team Barcelona beat in one of the greatest collapses in the sport's history.

almost the complete opposite of what Durant did it. i can respeck that.

also, if he bags 40 and takes PSG to the semis or beyond i can 100% see him winning POY. especially with the shine of him being outside of Messi's shadow and being the big dog on the block finally in Euro football

love how you cherry picked 45 years

United also did have a unlimited funds or was sponsored by the country of Qatar, all while playing in an inferior league.

You've said this a few times before. It's an apples to oranges comparison, and a weird one at that.

And this is from someone who likes watching PSG.

it's not a cherry pick when it's literally how long PSG has existed

I mean the no history stuff is dumb when the club is only 45 years old. PSG are creating their history right now. Some act like the club should just accept where they are in the pecking order as of July 21st, 2017 and that things don't ever change. That PSG is 2nd tier, will always be 2nd tier, and there isn't anything they can do to change that. I say that's bullshite.

And it's not just here, it's the soccer community at large. it's bizarre.

I mean it makes more sense when you're talking about a club that's 120 years old but only got good recently

I don't care about that at all. Like I said, not everyone has that history, and that's fine. If you have the legit means to become elite, do it.

Just don't expect everyone to fall in love with your team or even be OK with it. That's sports.

But it's dumb to try to compare two teams in two totally different eras just to make your team look "better."

"PSG did better in 45 years of a globalized game with billions of dollars at their disposal for their peak run, so they're better than the club that started as a team of railroad workers before the light bulb was invented."

It obviously is different, but it's fair game if someone wants to knock what PSG have done in a relatively short existence.

Poch

For whatever reason, Poch has made some odd signings in his tenure. Him not spending may be a good sign for fans.

Here is just a few -

Paulinho (Apps: 67 Goals: 10)

Nacer Chadli (Apps: 79 Goals: 18)

Roberto Soldado (Apps: 76 Goals: 16)

Etienne Capoue (Apps: 36 Goals: 2)

Vlad Chiriches (Apps: 43 Goals: 2)

Erik Lamela (Apps: 63 Goals: 6)

Now clearly he's hit gold w/ a few others like Eriksen, Alli and Son. But he's had some odd signings as well.

City and Monaco have allegedly agreed to a €57 mil fee for Mendy.

We love breaking records on fullbacks.
