With Pep making it somewhat clear that Van Dijk isn't coming over, at least in this window, MEN has reported that the GOAT manger has made Dortmund's Julian Weigl the top target.
While I do see Weigl being a possible replacement for Fernandinho, I don't see him coming over in the winter. In all honesty, I don't see us making any huge signings in the winter aside from maybe one fullback.

Weigl might be Dortmund's most important player after Auba. It would take an obscene offer to get him.

Yup, apparently City, and once again this is just a rumor, are willing spend 70 mil on him.
Like I always say, rumors are fun, but they're just that, rumors. I typically don't believe any of them until I see the post on r/soccer of the player exiting from the physical.
ETA: Regardless, he's leaving at some point in the next couple of years. Barca have already mentioned their interest in him being Busquets' successor.

Conte talking to Abramovich about swooping for Llorente as a backup to Costa, and selling the underwhelming Batashuayi.

Sky Sports is reporting that Real Madrid turned down a €300 mil offer for Ronaldo that included an annual salary of over €100 mil.
The team in question is of course a side in China.

For those downvoting, Nagbe isn't a bad player at all. However, he has a couple things recently going against him. He came off a bad season in MLS (1g, 5a in 27 app with 0g/0a in his last 9 starts). He isn't a big national team mainstay like other US players that have gotten big transfers.
Asking £6m is an absurd pricetag. They'd be better if they just said he's not for sale. The type of money the timbers are asking for is getting close to the likes that Bradley, Jozy, and Clint got. He's not that caliber of player.
For MLS transfers, Vancouver terminated contract for Masato Kudo and he goes back to J League. Houston sign Juan David Cabezas from Colombia on loan with a buy option at end of year. Jonathan Mensah (Ghana defender playing in Russian league) is apparently close to joining Columbus.

MLS will always ask for way to much for any player leaving the league for Europe.

dafuq? They´re making more and more cash everyday. They don´t know what to spend their money on. They also dig football, big time.
