Salaries yes... understandable

I havent looked at all the fees, but this one seems way over the top... Chelsea didn't really want him, it isnt like they paid way over the odds for a hazard/costa

Chinese clubs can only have 4 foreigners + 1 non Chinese player from somewhere else in Asia.

The domestic players suck, so they pay them peanuts and use the insane wages to lure Hulk, Oscar, etc.

I understand the wages... that's the only way you get those guys over there...

Even some of the fees... but cmon, you gotta be the worst negotiator on earth to pay £60mm for a player that's surplus to requirements

I mean, if they would have just said £50mm!! Chelsea would have taken it...

Zenit doesn't just sell because someone asks.. they have money...

And I really don't care... more power to you guys! I'm not here asking for a FIFA investigation.. but you honestly don't believe there isn't more than meets the eye there...

Edit: I wish they'd offer stupid money for one of our guys

With today's prices, Kroos is easily worth that

Yann M'Vila extends his Rubin Kazan contract.

M'Vila was then accused by Sunderland manager David Moyes of lacking the "fight" for a relegation battle and he has now committed his future to Rubin Kazan to 2020.

Juventus want Real Madrid's Toni Kroos in a £76m deal as the Serie A champions hunt for the new Andrea Pirlo.

They're now rumored to be well on to signing James in June (Corriere Della Sport). Again, rumors.

Pablo Maffeo has been loaned to Girona.

I'd assume that means we're going to bring in another RB/Any fullback for that matter.

Maffeo's played well, pretty clear Pep wants him getting solid reps before replacing Zaba after the season. That will be sad as hell.

First bid was rejected. Not the whole thing. Celtic offered £3 mill. Timbers apparently want £6 mill.

Love Pep just sending them off to the club owned by his agent.

With Pep making it somewhat clear that Van Dijk isn't coming over, at least in this window, MEN has reported that the GOAT manger has made Dortmund's Julian Weigl the top target.

While I do see Weigl being a possible replacement for Fernandinho, I don't see him coming over in the winter. In all honesty, I don't see us making any huge signings in the winter aside from maybe one fullback.

Weigl might be Dortmund's most important player after Auba. It would take an obscene offer to get him.
