The US desperately needs the speed, technical skill, vision, and creativity of Nagbe and Pulisic.

Seriously though, the quality of Nagbe and Pulisic that stand out most is the weight of their passing. They know how to play it slow to feet and draw in the defense, or when to zip it into space. Add in their touch and spatial awareness, and it's evident how they're on a different level from Zardes or even Bradley, who looked much better playing his actual position.

I'm okay with bringing Pulisic along slowly if necessary. Our midfield three should absolutely be Bradley, Jones, and Nagbe, though.

According to ESPN Stats & Info, Darlington Nagbe completed every one of his 33 passes. Oh yeah, he scored too. #usmnt

We didn't suck nearly as much as we have for the last 2 years, which is nice, because we have really sucked, and I had pretty much lost faith that we would ever be good again; therefore, this was both a surprising and heartening performance.

And Paul Carr

Effects of Bradley at No. 6 & Nagbe in the game? - 1st half: 45% possession, 79% passing pct - 2nd half: 55% possession, 87% passing pct

Actually compliments Bradley in central midfield. God forbid we pair them in Copa America.

The pivot system was invented for Bradley and Nagbe.

But for real when Wood and Nagbe came on we soooo much better in possession it wasn't even close.

-----------------Wood---------------
Pulasic------Dempsey----Bedoya?/Zusi?
-----------Nagbe-----Bradley----------
FJ-------JAB----------????------Yedlin
-----------------??????---------------

This needs to be close with how we play.
