Why won't we give Patrick Bamford a chance? Is this kid really so much worse than our available options? He didn't win Championship player of the year because he sucks. Yes, he may not be ready for the Prem yet but few are at his age.

sure weve all muttered this phrase involving at least 3 or 4 different youth options on the bench.

Same reason we keep trotting Matic out there to cost us points when we have RLC waiting for his turn.

I dont know if its ignorance or loyaly. I saw Matic slowing down last season. He looks teeerrriible. I cannot believe he's a professional footballer

Haha good point, stubbornness and fear I guess.

I just think we are well past the point of what's the worst that could happen.

I just can't support not playing hazard. Hes not scoring, but he opens up so much. He has made bundles of great crosses and Costa just doesnt finish his runs

hazard has had stretches where hes just as bad as anyone else out there, imo.

this season got away from everyone so fast that i think they were forced to play the stars and double down on them finding form. earlier on, RLC got some mins, kenedy would sneak into games every now and then, ect...

then everything got desperate, and the panic response was to stick with known commodities. and its not like the club has a strong reputation for giving youth a chance anyway.

id love to see Kenedy sub in behind Willian more often, give pedro some time on the left, let RLC and Ramires partner, bring on Traore when chasing a goal. all kinds of options being ignored. how much was Mou, how much was Roman and the others dictating, we'll never know. guess we'll see if Guus does anything other than what Jose was doing.

started really following just as Essiens ACLs went to shite.

and frick it, i still miss david luiz. i look around the current squad and i just dont really like many of these dudes. Luiz, lamps, mata, drogba, cech. even torres, just came across as likable guys i felt good rooting for.

I've said it before but he's the reason I started following Chelsea and got to enjoy him for 3-4 years before the injuries ended his career as a top player.

He was a joy to watch.

Id love one of Verratti or Matuidi. Verratti is essentially a younger version of what Cesc should be in the pivot. Possession, distribution, and physicality. Doubt theres a chance in hell he goes anywhere else other than one of the big italian clubs if they can afford him.

Know less about Matuidi but he always looks impressive when i catch the odd PSG match.
