Cambiasso isnt liked by alot of the argentian squad and is seen a locker room trouble.

He or ~Ronaldo imo are 1A and 1B but this year i think Snedjier, Iniesta and Robben overshadowed them both on the bigger stages (LC and WC)

For the role of final through ball player, Xavi is the best in the world

Then why does he only have 3 assists with finishers like Villa and Messi on his team?

He might not have the numbers this season, but in each of the past two seasons he's led the league in assists. Not only that, his role as deep-lying playmaker means that often he makes the pass that finds someone in space, which can mean any number of things.

I don't think anyone who watches soccer can deny that Pirlo and Xavi are absolutely the best at doing this. Not very many other players can play as deep as they do while influencing the game as much as they do. You have plenty of central midfielders who can recycle possession, but not as many who have the range of passing as these two.

Pirlo and Xavi

I dont think thier value over replacement player is as high as Messi's.

Snejder, Scholes, Ozil, Schwenstager(sp i know), Iniesta, Alonso,
These players are up there with Xavi and Pirlo but Messi is on a sphere of his own with possibly Villa and Ronaldo at similar levels but def. not as close. But Messi has the consistancy.

Agree to disagree. Pirlo and Xavi are two of the best deep lying playmakers of this generation. They've literally changed the position. None of the players you mentioned set the rhythm for their teams like Xavi or Pirlo does while at the same time offering as much in terms of forward balls. In the tier below them are players like David Pizarro and Xabi Alonso. And maybe Scholes.

Messi and Ronaldo are completely different types of players who rely on other players deep in midfield to get them the ball.

I also don't think you can discount how important these sorts of players are. A large part of Liverpool's struggles in 09/10 can be attributed to the loss of Xabi Alonso, a deep-lying playmaker in the Xavi model, who perhaps had his best season in 08/09 setting the pace for 'Pool's attack. His departure made 'Pool's 4-2-3-1 stretched thin, as they weren't able to get the balls to the wings with Lucas and Mascherano trying to move the ball upfield.

There is no other answer. Hendo, when do I get credit for the "Muslim Jesus" label?

I think the thing people overlook with Xavi, compared to say a Gerrard, who is also a good passer, is that Xavi completely controls the tempo of a game. VS Madrid he made 114 passes out of 117. You don't need to be a Roy Keane style crunching defensive midfielder with stats like that, the other team will be so worn out from chasing the ball they'll be fricked.

It's easy to complete a high percentage when most of your balls are passing around the back. Give me someone like Gerrard who can pass, shoot, defend, run, take free kicks anyday. He has two of the top three or four scorers in the world on his team and has three assists halfway through the season.

how many times have you seen gerrard do this
LINK
He also does this on a regular basis. Make sure to mute it so you don't have to hear shitty music.
As you can see, he is not just passing the ball around the back.

So we have already established that xavi can pass, run, and take FK. This isn't the NBA. You don't get to that level without playing defense. Besides, he is not playing in that role. Barca always play with a ballwinner to break up attacks and feed the playmakers.
Again, I am not saying he is the best all around player in the world (messi), but he is certainly the best at the role he plays.

Zero. Spain and Germany will be the odds on favorites for Euro 2012. IMO, everyone else is playing for third place.
