Doesn't look like Koulibaly is going anywhere this window. Maguire is going to get more than van Djik money from City. Thought Umtiti would be ripe for the picking but even with limited starts last year he seems content, and Barca missing on de Ligt means they want him to stick around with Pique and Lenglet.
Maybe just overpay a little for Alderweireld for 3+ solid years?
I am excited about the full/wingbacks but given the 54 conceded goals I remain flummoxed that the CB position is this wide-open this deep in June.
I think it is painfully obvious that with the supposed 100M budget constraints in place and so few meaningful sales thus far (continental tournaments don't help) that this is not going to be the big window needed to quickly and significantly improve the side. I'm already looking forward to January.
I don't know if Ole is the right guy pitch-side but the club and Woodward are setting him up for failure.

He wouldn't do it because he loves the club too much to put it in a tenuous position, but I would be totally okay with Ole resigning tomorrow claiming leadership is not committed to bettering the club and that he's not going along with it. I have no doubt that he laid out clear expectations when he signed permanently that are not being met.
I'd almost prefer it than see a loyal son flailing about trying to make the best of a team more equipped for another 5th/6th place finish. It doesn't feel like things have sufficiently been burnt to the ground yet and it won't until new ownership.
