Man U should just throw a bunch of money at Zidane or Poch.

Zidane would be a good one, IMO. Bring him in and let him basically babysit and let Pogba and Lukaku run the team.

If the fans want pretty attractive football he isn’t the best hire

And let Pogba baby sit the team

Dude is still immature as shite

Maybe, but he didn't play THAT bad today in my view. Lots of passes, a couple of good balls, scored a penalty. Man U's spacing on defense is really bad. Way too much space between the CB's and the fullbacks, a disconnect between Pereira and the defense. Man U is trying to press but isn't suited for it too. I also don't think Mata on the right brings anything at all.

It's weird how well Pogba plays for France in Deschamps system but he's very much a part of the whole in that system while he's expected to take a leading role with Man U.

Zidane would get the most out of the midfield as well. Pogba still needs a partner.

The thing is does anyone trust him to build a squad bc United still has a couple obvious holes

He stepped into a ready made one a Madrid and just ran with it. Madrid didn’t spend like usual under Zizzou.

It’s because he is overrated due to his price tag.

He played alongside a world class midfield at Juventus and plays with two of the hardest working midfielders in the world with France in Matuidi and Kante.

He had/has creative freedom in those systems because of how good his teammates were. He doesn’t have that luxury at United.

My thoughts exactly. I’m not saying he can’t but he’s never done it. I guess if we get a director of football he wouldn’t have to worry about building the squad but we are significantly less talented than RM’s roster.

It was a rough game. It's only one game but it doesn't bode well. Hopefully Jose earns his money and pulls it together.
Performance in the next game will be telling. If we come out on fire and win 3-0 then maybe it won't be a total disaster this season, but again who knows how they react to this shite performance all around.

That moment when you realize Glenn Murray is three years younger than you are.

Tottenham is up next so don't get your hopes up for a 3-nil battering.
