but god awful is an overstatement IMO

Fair but for the price tag it truly is put up or shut up time and it seems to be running out.

Mainly was talking to the Henderson naysayers. He's not perfect but the dude always seems to find a way to deliver on the big stage as he did Sunday.

Ox will be fazed in more and more. Huge, huge win.

Price tag is fair and especially considering we waited for him, but he’s only 24, adjusting to a new league/country and has battled a lot of injuries the last year and a half so I don’t think it’s fair to say time is running out

Klopp waited for him for a reason and I think you can definitely see at times why he did want him so bad. I mean he hasn’t been Markovic or anything like that so he’ll deservedly get more opportunities to prove himself if he can just stay healthy

Saw this absolute gem on Reddit/Twitter today:

What do Liverpool and Everton have in common this season?

Neither of them have beaten a team above them in the table

I think he's still there, just out of contention for the first game... he could still play in the second game of the break...

Angry sterling is great to see, similar to angry suarez.

So apparently Gomez has a scratch under his eye from the incident with Sterling. Seriously a massive bitch move by Sterling, how tf you let a game get to you like that and then go after your own international teammate. Disgraceful.

My only question- did sterling stand on a chair to get that high? Or did he jump?

Don’t even think a chair would help. Still
Unclear how the T. rex limp wrists could have made it that high to scratch Gomez.

Looks like our match vs Palace only on Gold this Saturday unless they change something.

Anyone have a link to the Barcelona game thread? Found myself watching videos and reading articles from that game. I watched it on my phone at work, desperately trying not to alert the office that I was enthralled in a game of football and hadn’t checked an email or looked at an order report in 2 hours. It’s as happy as I’ve ever been in a moment of sport when that whistle blew. The only events that compare were the ‘09 SECCG against Tebow and Florida, and the ‘09 title against Texas.

Anyway, I want to go back and relive the shock and horror of our resident mancs, the smug frickers, when they came to the realization that Liverpool football club were well on their way to being 6 times champions of Europe.

TIA lads. Let’s go beat Palace without Mo and Robbo this weekend. After all, we did it to Barcelona

Yo Rise, one thing I do every now and then is go to You Tube and watch highlights of that game while simultaneously catching all of the fan reaction videos. It’s glorious.

Some of the comments on the 6 minute highlight are amazing. That's the broadcast from America.

one of them: "I watch this every morning because I have severe depression"

IT'S IN

IT'S WIJNALDUM

IT'S INCREDIBLE

At the time I didn't think the announcer really conveyed enough emotion on Gini's second goal, but it's grown on me. I can appreciate the fact now that he didn't go crazy because it gives you a better sense of the noise at anfield when that hit the net. Still wild to think we won that game without Bobby, Mo, and Robbo in the 2nd half
