So uh guys, cool thing I just read:

Smicer- 56'
2019:
Wijnaldum- 54'
Wijnaldum- 56'
2005:

2019:

I agree...BUT WE'RE FOOKIN GIANTS NOW TOO!!!
We’ve been giants, just taking a nap for a little while. Notice we both have a 5 on our side patches. Next time we play Barca we’ll have a 6 and they’ll still have a 5

Not much of a pattern selecting out of 15 years.
Only the minutes match.

Both instances involved being down 3-0 to start the half/game, both were incredible European comebacks... the fact that the two biggest comebacks in Liverpool history in Europe shared goal times (and goals that really turned the tie around) is a cool coincidence

Fair enough.
I'm still stunned at the last goal.
I follow Uruguay and there is no way they would not be organized to defend the would-be-winning set piece. So weird.
I've watched it over and over.

They just completely fell asleep, and TAA caught them and punished them

It sucks because I think we get a W against that side 6/10 times on a neutral ground. We outplayed them for large stretches of the match and they were clearly uncomfortable against us. We just didn’t make them pay and they had 2 moments of brilliance.
I give us a 1% chance of advancing, but the tie is not over. Anfield is a different breed of cat, and our quality was apparent today despite the lackluster finishing. The league is all but lost, and big ears is now a major longshot, but it isn’t over until it’s over. The match against Dortmund at Anfield taught me that. They converted 2 really difficult chances and we missed 3 or 4 relatively easy ones. That’s soccer sometimes. If we score in the first 15’ at Anfield, we can beat those frickers

That’s somewhere below but pretty good. Making it to work will be a positive.

That YNWA after full time and Klopp giving everyone a hug is why I love this club
Even someone like Mignolet embracing it and enjoying the moment just shows the type of bond this team has

Just watched 2nd half again.
the odds against the overall win were 50-1.

Amen. I’ve been watching highlights and listening to the podcasts and reading twitter on my back porch with leftover cinco de Mayo Coronas since I got home from work (like the Dortmund comeback, I watched this in secret in my office)
I can’t imagine supporting a different club. Never in my wildest dreams did I ever think I’d care about anything related to sport the way I do about Alabama football; but Liverpool football club has made it a neck and neck race. What an amazing club we support. You can buy 500 million pounds worth of superstars with oil money, but you can’t buy passion, tradition, and heart.
To our lurkers, YOUR CLUB DOESN’T HAVE THIS

Joel Matip is a world class center back. Yes, I said it

We're truly blessed to have the two best central defenders in world football: Joel Matip and Dejan Lovren

The guy has been a brick wall in UCL. He really has. Even the Suarez opener in Barça was “on him” that was just world class precision and movement.
Sometimes it’s a last ditch, desperation tackle from Matip, but more often than not he makes the tackle. He’s absolutely nails under pressure.

I like to rub it in. They know it, but what’s an historic victory without some shite talk. I’m listening to Pearce on Blood Red. I’ll be celebrating into the night. I need to vent some euphoria if I plan to sleep tonight
Glenn Murray is going to nick one in Sunday on the south coast and we’re going to win the fricking double
