I remember reading in the beginning of the window after everyone offered 50mil they wanted 60mil then after another round of offers they turned into we're not selling.

That never happened... I get you are frustrated and not trying to attack you, just trying to pull you into reality... don't get upset... differing opinions are fine, but that above is just nonsense..

If Southhampton are willing to sell to us, I believe we'll match their over inflated valuation...

and further, I'm okay with us negotiating deals... like we did Salah.. thats how these things work..

All good man. I think everyone is frustrated. Just hope we don't sell Phil now bc I don't think we'd buy anyone to replace him

Honestly, all the front three showed glimpses of what they are capable of... only played 67 mins together prior to today... Phil is a missing piece... what he can do with these three will be magic...

The defense is another story..

Yeah I'm super excited to see what these front 3 can do and then if Danny sturridge can stay healthy we're gonna score a ton of goals. I'm guessing we need to average 3-4 a game for the 2-3 we'll give up haha

Well, at least the Firmino-Mane-Salah combo looks like it will be lethal this season. Add in Lallana, and our offense will remain one of the very best in the league. And I still think we're only a couple names away from being able to challenge for the title. Adding VVD needs to be our number 1 priority. Whatever it takes.

We should have sold him and brought in a replacement.

It was an odd sub.. I thought Gini should have come off at the end, if he had a knock...

Announcer mentioned it could have been for height at the back, makes as much sense as anything I can think of..

That was definitely the reasoning but questionable sub to say the least

Thought we may be able to pull it out, but like I said before we really didn't deserve it. We looked like shite for the most part. And that goes beyond transfers

I can understand the subs. On one hand you're planning ahead for a much more important match on Tuesday, while trying to protect 1 goal lead late. So you make defensive subs to weather the storm. I don't think that's the wrong call at all. If our guys understood how to setup to defend set pieces we win today. It's that simple.

I'm not a fan of subbing off a defender unless you are up by 2 or one guy is exhausted. I'd rather put in a more defensive midfielder, or put in another defender as a DM.

I feel like every time klopp makes a defensive sub to protect a lead we blow it. The opposition isn't nearly as worried about origi etc once firmino and Salah are off and can really concentrate on the equalizer.

Yeah don't touch the back line. Even highschool coaches know that. Take off Gini and put Gomez as defensive as possible in the mid or even on the back line. Kinda sucked but TAA played really well

I agree with that.

Hindsight's 20/20 but TAA was playing well and we put on a 20 year old that hasn't played competitively in 2 years. Not to mention the one chance he had to win a header he lost it.

Not to shite on Joe cause I think he has a bright future, but that just didn't seem like the best situation for him.
