Just my thoughts but -

If hunter is there- he only thing I can think of is the possible risk of knee issues and our wanting to change up some compensation packacjes to him so that he has to play to get paid the full salary. Etc. Why else would Hunter need to travel there?

Yeah, it sure sounds like we really saw something with that knee. Of course, we could be pulling some bullshite to get that price down?!

As we know, Sergio Ramos = thug cheater.

Now, via Mo Salah, we know his sorry arse is a liar too.

https://www.espn.com/soccer/liverpool/story/3520933/liverpools-mohamed-salah-rejects-sergio-ramos-claim-i-never-told-him-it-was-fine

quote:

Ramos was heavily criticised for his role in the incident, but he said things had "been blown out of all proportion" and that he had exchanged messages with Salah, who had told him everything was OK.

"He sent me a message, but I never told him it was 'fine,'" Salah, who also labelled Ramos' comments as "funny," told Marca on Saturday.

Ramos even suggested that Salah could have played on if he'd had pain-killing injections at halftime.

Laughing, Salah added: "My comment [to that] is that it's always good when the one who made you cry at first, then makes you laugh. Maybe he could also tell me if I'm going to be ready for the World Cup?"

Is lying because you're a cheating scumbag part and parcel of "the dark arts"?

Dude, GTH. If you don’t want to read it, then don’t.

How about YOU “letting go” your control issues?

Shaqiri

He's definitely not as exciting a signing as Dembele/Pulisic, etc..

But at £12mm, thats a no-brainer... He would instantly be our third best option out wide.. offers something no one else on our bench can and is still young enough...

If it’s truly over and more than them just posturing, then that’s more money to potentially throw at Alisson.

I think that role is one we still need to fill though and hopefully with the quality of a player like Fekir..

Shaqiri is a really good signing for what we need. Spending big for depth on the front 3 is counter productive since we still need to spend big on GK (fingers crossed). Fekir fills a major need and when Ox gets back that will be 2 quality attacking mids that are also versatile. We need a couple of good buys like Shaqiri and maybe Moses if JK rates him to add that depth but understands that they are not beating out any of the big three. Can you see Pulisic or Dembele coming with all that money behind them but sitting or beating out a Mane or Fekir who then sits? It’s great to think we could swing it but that appears to be a RM, Barca, City, United type deal. Idk maybe I’m wrong, I just think we need to add wing depth that can play their roles for that price of 10-12. Klopp loves a harmonious, family type squad (I know corny but it works) where everybody has a role and accepts it. Man, if we can grab our Cou replacement along with our wing depth before the WC it would let us laser focus on the GK situation.

I see it differently.. and think Klopp is more ruthless than some may think...

I think there are plenty of matches to go around to keep all those attacking player happy and fresh... We need those kind of players pushing each other to be better and not assume they are nailed on starters...

I mean he's looking to totally revamp the midfield... I hope our current guys aren't resigned to accept roles as squad players..

Dude, I apologize, but it tends to piss me off when people seem to think they can tell me what I should think and/or write that meets with their approval.

Make you a deal... you mind your OWN thoughts, ideas, and posts and I’ll mind mine. If you want to substantively argue a point I’m trying to make, I welcome it. If you prefer ignoring it, I’m perfectly fine with that too.

“Shut up” (to paraphrase) is not a substantive argument though. Simple stuff.

Write whatever you want. I wasn’t trying to personally attack you. Just saying it’s in the past and not a thing you say now will change the outcome of the game so I really don’t see the point even talking about it

I assume the first name behind Fekir on the list would be Lemar. Not sure if it helps or hurts that we already dealt with them. Plus he’ll probably be even more expensive, even coming off a pretty underwhelming year

Then again, I wouldn’t be surprised if they just say they’ll try to ride it out with the options they have and hope Lallana/Ox can stay healthy enough to hold down the more creative attacking role.

Not saying I agree with that at all, but just playing devil’s advocate

Per Maddock. Maybe more wishful thinking but could be all a part of Aulas’s dickhead ways to get what he wants and not sell til after the World Cup. The long con...

Maddock says the deal is still on... Fekir wants us.. Its just Lyon posturing again... may go until after the WC... but we've seen Klopp and team be patient to get their guy..

I get it, £53mm + £150k/wk over 5 years is a lot of coin if you have doubts...

And I have no problem with us trying to be hard asses and not be walkovers that other teams think they can take to the cleaners.

Hell City’s going through the same thing now with Napoli for Jorginho
