89' in the final, (insert LFC player) scores to put us up 3-2. Of all the possible players we can put on the field, who would you most want to see score that winning goal?

Zings. Danny Zings.
Edit: Possibly Gini or Robbo as well.

Bobby Firmino... Dude has put in some serious shifts for us this year, also I'm kinda Petty and want a Brazilian to score the winner while that OTHER Brazilian sits his arse at home

Bobby, and then he runs over and karate kicks Alexi Lalas in his weird looking face.

I don' think it should have been a penalty in today's game either.
I would like it to either be a penalty or NOT be a penalty.
Not sometimes a penalty and sometimes not a penalty.
FOR THE EXACT SAME THING.
(And, yeah, for sure TAA's was bad. That one was in another category. As many times as Liverpool gets fricked though, I'm not apologizing when they finally catch a damn break.)

Sadio Mane MotM Put constant pressure on the ball and was a constant threat to score (and did score) Gini Wijnaldum 2nd Fantastic header for a huge goal and excellent defense and possession play James Millner 3rd Ageless wonder with endless energy... how does he do it?
Sadio was definitely MOtM. Constant threat, great outlet, relieved a ton of pressure, and put in a good shift on defense.
For me - Robbo was 2nd. Dude was lights out yesterday. Effort was insane. Unlucky to not have an assist or more.
Couple of things that concern me though -
Karius was both good and bad. Two bad moments from him - one could have been a PK and the other was the save that led to the Dzeko goal - he has to do better with where it rebounds. But he also made some good saves - and he was great coming out for crosses etc.
TAA - needs to do a better job closing down crosses, and playing defense. He's either locked in or lost defensively lately. But he's the best option we have unless we think Joe is up for it for the CL final. Those of you who want Clyne back for the CL final obviously didn't see how rusty and out of sorts he was.
Midfield - they are gassed. And they each have to go again in 3 days. Henderson looked like he was playing in high heels he was moving so slow at times yesterday (in terms of short quick movements). I think his injuries have really taken their toll on his quickness.
CL final - entirely comes down to two things - is TAA/Gomez going to have a good game, and will our midfield be able to put the effort in for a full '90?
I think we score on RM - I'm hoping it'll be our 3 goals in 20 minutes burst. But I also think Ronaldo hurts us. I'm thinking it ends 3-2 and would probably favor the bad guys in this one. But I think we have a real shot.

All kinds of twitter chatter about Can being available for the final. I honestly can't see him starting ahead of Hendo-Gini-Milly without at least 1 game to test his form/fitness. Those 3 did enough to get through City and Roma, I think they get the start. Will be nice to have he and Lallana on the bench though.

We only play 2 more games before the final, and our last league match is 13 days before the final. As long as no one else gets hurt, I don't think legs will be as big of an issue.

We play on Sunday this week, so 4 days fortunately.
If we play Chelsea to a third consecutive EPL draw, I'll be ecstatic. Because a draw is all we need to wrap a bow on it.
It really sucks that we weren't awarded that clear penalty against Stoke.

Yep, get a draw and then play a bunch of academy guys (at least in the midfield) next weekend... Hell if we want to rest all of our top choices to stay healthy I have zero issue with that

How big a star could Kloppo make out of Pulisic?

Borussia Dortmund are "not aware" of Liverpool's interest in Christian Pulisic amid reports in Germany that the Reds could move for the United States international this summer.
Pulisic, under contract at Dortmund until 2020, is valued at least €60 million, with German paper Bild reporting that Liverpool and coach Jurgen Klopp are continuing to track the midfielder.
Yuge... YUGE.

Hilarious piece by a ManU fan:

Picture the scene.
A beaming and drained Gary Lineker turns from his studio guests to face the camera. He and they have just been watching a replay of Steven Gerrard losing his shite at Mo Salah's winning goal. The Rangers manager is so spent with joy that his eyebrows have long since disappeared off his narrow forehead. Rio Ferdinand is panto-annoyed but magnanimous and gushing about an 'truly epic' achievement at the NSC Olimpiyskiy Stadium.
Lineker makes a quip about Liver birds, chicken Kievs, and filleting Real. He signs off by saying something about how Liverpool fans have been waiting for this feeling to come, then winks and bids goodnight. Cue montage. The twangy low-fi strains of Blur's Tender start up with slo-mo footage of Liverpool fans walking towards the stadium, before the anthemic beat kicks in. Images of Klopp holding aloft the European Cup coincide with the line 'Love's the greatest thing.'
The next morning's papers and your timeline are saturated with the wall-to-wall coverage of Liverpool's Champions League victory. Images of Firmino biting down on his winners medal with unfathomably white teeth make sharp contrast to Ronaldo's exasperated and contorted face. 'My hero, my mate' descriptions accompany a widely shared picture of a hands-in-pockets Jurgen Klopp, drinking in the moment alone on the pitch; looking into the middle-distance like a happy drunk.

Depending on your personal allegiances, this all sounds either dreamlike or nightmarish.
I'll level with you, as a Manchester United supporter it is absolutely the latter. Not just because of skewed bias and unashamed pettiness, but because no one revels in their own glory quite like Liverpool fans. They wrap themselves up in their own mythology like it was a glittery sari. It's irrational and immature to lump a whole set of people into one archetype, but I'll do it anyway. It's gonna be unbearable. fricking Liverpool fans are gonna be unbearable. And they know it.
It was all so obvious as soon as they beat Manchester City 3-0 at Anfield. Some United fans celebrated blue implosion, but they didn't see the bigger picture. Quite apart from the fact that Liverpool are - and always should be - the real enemy, it was all leading to ultimate Scouse victory. There were self-assuring excuses and caveats we could use for City winning the thing, but for Liverpool they don't exist. Less money, 'proper' football club, great football - it's all so sickening.
Liverpool Football Club - *six* times European Cup winners. Good or bad, get used to it, because it's going to happen. Wake me up in September.

Right-back Trent Alexander-Arnold recently explained what it was like to train with Salah and his story about their first day together tells you just what kind of character the forward is.
"The first day of pre-season was just a running session," Alexander-Arnold told Copa90.
"Not a race, just to see how far you can run really. It gets harder each lap you do so you end up doing quite a bit of running and you drop out when you can’t go any further.
"So everyone has dropped out and it’s just me and him left and he didn’t stop. Nobody was running against him anymore and it was just that hunger to win and to just carry on.
"That’s when I saw it. He just wouldn’t stop…it just seemed his limit was above everyone else's."
