This is unreal, Mane has found his mojo... So can start the reserves in the 2nd leg?

Not sure what is more impressive.

The defensive performance or the attack.

Defense for me, this is the attack we expect (okay maybe not 5 goals, but the play for sure)... Defense is really starting to come together and it makes us a very strong side

Lovren seems to be a lot more comfortable playing on this side and listening rather than leading.

Feel like VvD has been YUGE for him.

Yeah, he looks much better with VVD out there... How much if our defensive improvement do we attribute to him getting settled in the squad? Because we've looked really solid in the last few weeks

That Mane strike was the purest anyone in a Liverpool shirt has hit a ball all year. That fricker would’ve went 60 yards without getting 5 feet off the ground.

Yeah they sure do worry a lot about what fans of a team they don't like do during a match

The forwards will get the plaudits, but how freaking good has Robertson been since he's been given his chance? For £8m!!! Insane.

OurMF harried Porto's possession all game and VVD...he's such a calming presence. Hendo has been a good servant, but VVD is our captain. Just give him the armband and be done. Lovren's play has improved so much with VVD steering the ship, it's been incredible to watch. There will be moments, growing pains, but man, when they click they click.

If Milner were Spanish or Brazillian he would get so much more respect for the shifts he puts in. I'll be the first to admit every time that I see his name on the sheet I'm underwhelmed, but he's so valuable to the club both on and off the pitch. Hope Ox watches and learns from him.

His crosses were money today. He's had a couple of games lately where his crosses weren't on target, but today he was damn money.

Wouldn't hurt my feelings none.

Sometimes watching Milly play, I forget that he's 32 years old.

BTW, since our toilet flush out of the FA Cup against WBA, we've played 4 matches (3 EPL, 1 CL)... in those matches we've gone 3-1-0, scored 12 goals (3 per match), and had 3 clean sheets.

Another wonderful match by you guys today. I enjoy watching your attack, but frankly I'm tired of it and if you all could go back to sucking it would be nice.
