didn't see the game, but we gotta keep this streak of wins going.... we need full points in the league games, because, yes, we are playing for 4th... winning the title is out of the question... we aren't far off of 2nd-4th, but we can't keep getting draws... gotta get full points, especially vs. the bottom feeder teams....

To be where we are, the way we've been playing up and down, LOTS of footbaw to be played.

On top of the fact that we've probably played the toughest schedule of the top 6 right now, having already played ManC, ManU, Arsenal, and Tottenham, 4 of the top 6, in addition to the fact that some of the "easy" teams we've played are comfortably mid-table (Watford, Burnley, Huddersfield, Newcastle, Leicester).

The only bottom table teams we've played so far in the first 1/3 of the season are CP and West Ham.

If you'd have told me in August that come the Nov. break we'd be in 5th (4 pts out of 2nd, 3 out of 4th), and top of our CL group, I'd have taken it in a heart beat tbh

For real.

Not to mention the injuries too.

Thanks Allah for Salah.

Returns

quote:

Following Sadio Mane's impressive return to action, Simon Mignolet's thoughts on the No.19 being joined in Liverpool's team by Philippe Coutinho and Adam Lallana after the international break can be summed up in one word. “Brilliant,” the goalkeeper told Liverpoolfc.com.

Yes! *evil laugh*

So is this an injury?

Or is this an "injury"?

https://www.goal.com/en-us/news/sadio-mane-injury-concern-for-jurgen-klopp-liverpool-wait/d8h439pj223x1os0o9mjjw9mh

quote:

Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp admits it is "a concern" to have had Sadio Mane return from international duty with another hamstring problem.

The forward has been sent back to England after Senegal's football federation confirmed he had been feeling slight pain in same muscle that kept him out for the majority of October.

With Senegal having sealed qualification for the World Cup with a 2-0 win over South Africa last week, Mane has been allowed to go back to Liverpool for assessment on the problem before they resume Premier League duties against his old club Southampton this weekend.

Goal 50 - Goal.com's 50 best world footballers

32. Sadio Mane
43. Philippe Coutinho
48. Naby Keita

Gotta think Salah has a good chance of making this list soon, right? And maybe #50 Thomas Lemar could be wearing a Liverpool kit next season?

Joe Gomez was MoTM in the 0-0 draw for England and Brazil yesterday.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2GQa1Et5hkg

Very solid, especially with Neymar running at you.

With Clyne out for the season, I think a good mix of Gomez at RB but keeping him back with the CBs forming a back-line of three (Gomez-Matip-Klavan) would be a good move with Gomez occasionally moving inside to CB.

But I like his future for Liverpool at CB. Sign another top CB either in January or next summer to play in along with Matip and Gomez (with Klavan as depth) and that would make me happy.

In case you haven't noticed yet, I truly believe that Gomez is coming into his own and is a future star.

He looked good... I think he's perfectly suited to that RCB in a back 3 right now... I have more concerns with him just playing in a 2...

I just don't want to rush him and destroy his confidence in our setup... They also had Dier sitting in front of the back3 yesterday and we don't have anyone to offer that type of protection for us...

I do agree that I hope he gets some games there... Clyne's injury sucks, because he still needs to rotate with TAA at RB..

Anyone seeing what channel the match will be on Saturday? Was checking NBC Sports app and I don’t see any premiere league matches.
